While I could have used these in the kitchen for the assorted types of drinks I consume, particularly energy drinks, I decided to use these in the closet instead. These are easy to assemble and stack up either all 4 or two separate levels of two each, which I have done on the top of my closet. I find they work best for similar socks, such as the kind I can grab and use without thinking for the gym, as well as for T-shirts in the other bin. On the other bin given how I go through the items, I actually put the ones that are used and don't smell awful so I can wash them altogether at the same time. Nice folding feature from when I am not using. Stackable or can be used separately. I wish they locked it when stocked as they easily slide apart. Not as big as expected. Would not order again at this price (40 when I ordered).

These snap together pretty easily and also come apart pretty easily as well. They seem pretty sturdy, but I do question their durability. The description shows mostly towels and clothes being stored in them, but also mentions books (and there are books in one of the pics). Well, I recommend more towels and fewer books -- not that these are really a good size for books anyway. But after trying to stand up some records in one of these (not the right size either, but just to try to test them out), it became apparent that too much weight or too much horizontal stress will decrease the useful life of these very quickly. These stack, but do not lock, and seem to be designed to pull out like drawers (that seems like trouble waiting to happen with these) so putting too much stress on the sides would really disrupt their function, I think. As always, I try to be fair and rate based on value for money and claims made in the description. If they take 'storing books' out of the description (or even suggest only storing them on the bottom if stacked), I will bump this up to 5 stars. But I really think you're better off storing lighter things in these bins.

These stackable storage containers are so good. I must say, it has been a game-changer for organizing my miscellaneous clothing items. I often found myself struggling to find a designated space for those items that didn’t fit in my drawer's. The Closet Stackable Drawer Shelf Storage has completely solved this problem for me. Its design allows for easy stacking, maximizing vertical space in my closet. I like that these take less than 2 minutes to “assemble” by snapping the walls up and together and then placing one atop the others. Think of a letter tray on an office desk. That is the same concept as these. The difference is that you can pull them and they easily slide towards you. These are great for things you want to organize but also need to see a fair amount of surface area when you’re looking for one. Graphic t shirts would be a great example. These bins will show you quickly which designs are stored within so you can find what you need and pull the bin forward you need. These are well made - I had no problems getting them snapped into place and I’m confident they will hold up in my closet. I recommend these for anyone who needs more organization in their closet or craft room (these would be great for construction paper, felt, vellum, art markers, etc).
