When I opened the box, I thought I had made a mistake in buying these. They looked very small and flimsy. But after getting them on the wall, they are the perfect size. And they came with screw anchors, so they are snug and can hold quite a bit. And they look really good. I am pleased.

This shelving unit is good, not great. It's not real wood and does have a smell when taken out of the packaging. A couple boards were also a tad uneven so they don't sit totally flush on the metal support bars. As long as you measure correctly and you can put all together next to each other like in the picture, you can put a good amount of items on this, but the individual boards are not very long. Also since it's not real wood, I would not recommend putting anything too heavy on each board. If you are using it to display collectibles which are not too heavy, this works very well. Mounting on the wall, you need to be able to measure precisely to get all to line up and have a level handy to make sure all is straight. Give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Loved the shelf layout idea for different options and checked reviews so went for it. Disappointed with the size as thought shelves would be at least 2-3inches longer and 1-2inches wider. No idea why this wouldn’t be created for 16” centers for wall studs as would be a much better idea and give a little more length. Per pictures provided, shown with magazine type organizer you and can see that the width is lacking for a normal sized item. Using a piece of plain white printer paper, it overhangs by 2-1/4” and the organizer hangs over 3”. The shelves feel like thin balsa wood. Space between each shelf placement bar is only 3”. I was hoping to put my organizers on this to keep my desk space more open but looks like this will be better for small items only. Only able to get a few screws into wall beams for decent support. This would be best for small items and low weight if unable to get any better support than molly bolt fasters. I don’t recall dimensions listed on the product page and if I missed thats my bad. Listing the “instructions” shown on the instructions for others.. says 14.6” between the wall mounts and 16.1” for middle if done based on the main picture (i measured twice and came to 14-3/4” and 16-1/4” for middle). Also, nothing was labeled as indicated in that picture and all shelves are same size. It just looks longer in the middle based on how the bars lay out with the screw mounts. My tape measure lists 15-1/8” between where shelves actually fit the shelf slots and a smidge over 15.5” for the middle. The shelves themselves are all 16.5” in length and 5-11/16” wide. I rate a 3 to 3.5 for no description with clear sizing, lacking of a better length/width plan to handle even the width of paper, and poor shelf quality. Hope this helps others!
