I saw an exhibit of the Gee's Bend quilts twice so this puzzle was of particular interest. It is just the right degree of difficulty without being frustrating and has lots of lively colors and designs. The cardboard the pieces are made out of is a little thinner than in the older puzzles I'm used to, so the pieces were harder to pick up, but in spite of that this puzzle was most enjoyable! ... show more

Loved this puzzle! Challenging enough for a 1000 piece set, but not maddeningly so :) So fun and vibrant! No missing pieces were noted. Zero puzzle dust, what?!?!? This puzzle is not locking, of it's important for other puzzlers. All in all, I really enjoyed putting it together

I usually avoid 1,000 piece puzzles because there are often big sections of one color in the artwork (sky, trees, ocean, snow) and I lose interest and just quit when that's all that's left. This puzzle is fabulous -- all 1,000 pieces. All these quilts!! Tiny works of art! Another reviewer said she approached it by putting together one quilt at a time, and that's what I did. So fun, and so much easier than actually sewing them!! They are all beautiful. The description of this puzzle says "difficult," but I didn't think it was. Just take your time and admire the incredible designs and handiwork -- in puzzle form! This puzzle is truly one of my favorites! ... show more

Love this puzzle and the historical figures. I did not so much get the connection to Van Gogh (and yes, I do understand he has a painting called sunflowers). But not so clear why she chose to put him in there. Maybe one day I will go down the rabbit hole of understanding her inspiration and relevance of his presence. All the sunflowers will have you seeing visions of sunflowers days after. ... show more
