And even more, I love the carabiners that holds the flag. When it says it doesn’t wrap around and get stuck, they are right. We live about 45 miles east of Newport Oregon. So every afternoon we get strong winds coming from the coast. The flag hasn’t gotten hung up once!! It was SO easy to install, took maybe 2 minutes. I recently purchased this flag pole after having a bad experience with a cheaper, poorly constructed flag pole from a big-box store. Let me tell you, the difference in quality is night and day. First of all, the bracket is made of sturdy metal, ensuring that the flag pole stays firmly in place, even in windy conditions. Compared to the flimsy plastic bracket on my previous flag pole, this one offers peace of mind and a much more secure hold. Love the star topper and black color. Unfortunately we had some stronger winds today and the flag was completely tangled. Most days it’s good. Definitely not for high winds! Quality, durable, nice looking.

If you are looking for a great product with a cheap price, you found it! I was very pleased with the quality of the flag pole. It’s light but sturdy construction makes it easy to handle, but it’s still well made and sturdy! It’s not going to bend or snap off! I also like the way the pole sections screw together too. I only just put it up so I have yet to see if the tangle free claim is true, but imagine as long as it’s not stretched too tightly, it should spin freely just fine. I was also surprised that the carabiner used to attach the flag has a neat little screw down lock that keeps it from opening on its own. The bracket is better than expected as far as the quality and I like that it has 3 wing nuts for securing the pole at the different angles too. 10/10 would buy again, but probably won’t have to! And as for the other reviews stating their flag still gets wrapped around the pole if it’s windy enough? Well you’re supposed to bring a flag inside so it doesn’t get ruined if the wind is that bad! (Recently I bought a flag pole in a popular chain crafting store, that was more expensive and not half as well made. The pole only tucked into the other half, came with a molded plastic mount and both pieces broke during a 12-15mph wind!)

This flagpole is excellent. Heavy duty, adjustable length, and it's powder coated metal so it shouldn't rust. I especially like the clips for both sides of the flag; it shouldn't fly off in a high wind, or twist badly like it did on our old wooden one. Really good price for really good quality.

This thing went up so fast once we got it. The nice black color of the pole and the hardware are awesome! Flying a 4'x6' heavy duty Back the Blue flag and this holds it no problem.

This was easy to put up, but the screws that came with this are cheap and not strong, so I drilled out the holes to a 3/16 and put a strong wood screws in 10mm. Works better and are stronger.
