Wasn’t sure how long to hold the wand to melt the “crystal” backing, but I figured it out… I like this thing to “rhinestone cowboy-up” my jean jacket. If I had known I was going to do this new project I would have saved some of my drills from my diamond painting craft fun - IF you do that, save them and use them for this. It is very slow going so requires patience… but seriously, if you do diamond painting this is a no brainer. Have fun, be handy, crafty and get artsy with it!

The gems to not stay on the tip no matter what size you are using. You have to hold the unit upright and bring your item to the gem instead of being able to hold it downward and pick the gem up, and put it on your item. If you want a good unit I recommend finding a bedazzler with tips that have the “slit” on top of them.
