At the current price for a king ($209.00 as of 5/15/24), I wouldn't recommend this duvet insert. It's really thin for that price! Yes, when you add a duvet cover, you will add a bit of warmth, but I'm not paying for that in the initial price. The product photo makes it look fluffy, but when I spread it out to fold into the cover, it's almost flat. I did end up putting the cover on and trying it, but outside of Spring and Fall, it's not going to get used. It has too much warmth for an all-seasons blanket, and not enough for a winter blanket. Unless they bring the price down quite a bit, I would get another duvet.

This is a good compromise if you don't like the "crinkle" of cotton-encased duvets. It is a poly-cotto blend cover. You do need to fluff it in the dryer with a few tennis balls after removing it from the package for it to poof up but then it's very soft and warm. No weird feather sticking out issues. I like that it has the ties on corners and sides to keep the duvet anchored correctly within its cover. No funky odors and as I said, it's very warm and cozy. I think it is a little bit overpriced but the best duvets tend to cost a little more.

I haven't sleep that good in a long time. I missed having my goose down comforter. Ever since my dog ruined my last one I hadn't gotten another one till I got this one and I hadn't realized how much I missed it till I put it on my bed and I slipped under the covers . It was like I was sleeping under the clouds it was so soft and fluffy. The comforter is so soft and fluffy. The feathers are light and airy. That is what I love about a goose down comforter it is so light when it is on you, it literally feel like there is nothing on you, but it keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The thing with duvet covers that makes them the best is that they have individual squares that keeps the feathers equally divide throughout the entire cover. The threads are sewn with very good quality material to keep the feathers in the duvet. It also has 8 loop design to keep the duvet secured . It has a loop on each one of the corners to tie it to the duvet cover inside. As well as one loop on each of the side of the duvet cover as well to make sure the duvet is secured inside of your duvet cover so it doesn't bunch up or roll up inside of the cover. Another thing that I love that you can do with your duvet is that you can always change your duvet up. All you have to do is get a new duvet covet and you have a new bed set. The inside stays the same you just change the outside cover. So this set is amazing, not only is it comfortable to sleep with but it is versatile, and beautiful to have on your bed as well. This is a must have in your bedroom and a must have in your sleep routine as well. I am part of the vine program and received this product in return for my honest and fair opinion.

This duvet is 850 FP. FP stands for “fill power” and is a standard industry measurement of fluffiness. The higher the number the lighter and fluffier the fill. According to Dwell magazine, FP 700 is high. This duvet is FP 850. It is expertly made and very fluffy. It fits my king-size duvet covers perfectly. The fabric covering is a white tight-weave blend to contain the down. The stitching and box pattern are luxurious looking and feeling. This duvet would fit right in at any five-star hotel. The package included the duvet/comforter in a vacuum-sealed bag. It needs time to regain its fluff. It can be placed in a dryer with no heat to restore it more quickly. Care requires spot or dry cleaning only, according to the manufacturer, I like that the down is ethically sourced and it has the Oeko-Tex certification that states the duvet doesn’t contain any harmful substances. I also like that this king-size duvet includes eight attachment points. Large duvets need eight attachment points, one at each corner plus one in the middle of each side to better prevent shifting inside the cover. Now we can imagine we are sleeping in a luxury hotel bed every night.
