One would think at this price point that the quality would be low, but not so! This RC car is a cross hybrid between a slot car and an RC. It has a hollow body that covers over the chassis. That's why' some reviewers say that it's flimsy, but this is certainly not true. The body can be customized or glossed. The stickers are satin finish signature Hot Wheels for collectors to relish. The chassis is professionally made and well balanced with corrective alignment. What I really liked was the small controller. It's small. But actually a precise unit that works at very close tolerance, meaning you can instantly turn the car and brake the wheels much faster than other controllers do to avoid crashes! It's not variable speed, but really doesn't matter because acceleration is very good. The weight of the car is also nice, and sounds hefty on a floor. All in all this RC comes in a cool picture box for a ridiculously low price. So if you're gifting a person who is just starting in RC, or in training, this car is it, and if you're a pro RC collector especially for Hot Wheels, then you don't want to miss out on this car! Among my collection of RC's this one is a favorite. My recommendation is go for it. It's obviously not the best RC car, but way better than you would expect.

It only cost 10.00 so you have to realize it’s flimsy but fun and it only cost 10bucks. If you supervise and play with your kid it will last longer. If you run it straight into the wall at full blast it’ll probably break the body. But if you and the kid just have fun with it on a smooth floor, it’s only 10 bucks and it’s a fun little toy. If you want something more durable then spend $50 on something more durable. For the money, you can’t beat it. It’s literally the cost of 3 candy bars. The Hot Wheels 1:64 remote cars cost 15 to 20 dollars and run on the standard Hot Wheels track and are fun. This car is a simple plastic fun “full sized” car that will run great in a smooth basement floor or on smooth black top. If you read about the car it says 6volt which leads you to believe its rechargeable because description says requires only 2 dbl . If you count up 4 dbl As thats 6volts but i am running it on a 2s=7.4volts and its alot faster and no issues and ive recharged it a time or 2 so they should throw some shocks on it and make it factory 2s lol

So first in the description, I could not find the scale. I purchased thinking that it was 1/64 scale. The car is actually right around the 1/16 scale model. Do NOT get this car wet as the cheap paper stickers will peal leaving a thin coat of paper and adhesive. I’m pretty certain most kids are going to play with this RC car outside so at minimum th stickers should be vinyl. Another issue is that that both front fenders have the Camaro logo right above the middle body line. Well CAMARO is always just below the center body line. The stickers in red do not match the body color, not even close!. The ZL1 Camaro also has the iconic black or carbon fiber ground effects panels that wrap all the way around the body. Well this car has the ground effects however they have not been colored accordingly which does not really look like a ZL1 Camaro. The motor is weak and might allow 3mph. The servo is a cheap magnetic type not digital proportional. There is really nothing good about this RC car but I did only pay $11.05 for it and I really only wanted the body for a 4x4 chassis. I’ll junk the rest of it as there is not a possible way to get replacement parts or update the electronics. Marek should be embarrassed to have released such a low quality product that is not very realistic and durable.
