Hot Shot’s Secret Stiction Eliminator is an engine oil treatment and oil stabilizer engineered to remove the sludge and varnish created from burnt oil from inside your engine while also lubricating to protect engine components. I can't say enough good about this stuff! Before I put it in I had a slight miss in one of my Injectors on my 2001 F350 7.3L. I put in the whole bottle (two quarts) then completed the oil change with Ames Oil 15W-40 Max Duty. I also used the HotShots Diesel Treatment at the same time. I then drove it 1,600 miles to Arizona from Louisiana. The truck was amazingly quiet at idle. My friend who I cam to visit in Dallas Fort Worth, who drives a 03 Expedition asked, "What did you do to quiet that engine down so much, that think is quiet and sounds amazing?" I told him I used this on my last oil change and the HotShots Injector Diesel Treatment. He said I'm doing that too! I also saw an improvement on MPG at 70mph. It when from 13.1 to 14.7. Made my diesel run smoother. Worked in my 7.3 power stroke figured try it in my 5.9 cummins common rail and even tho it's not huey injectors it made a massive difference idk why I'm not a scientist! It just did idle is smoother and starts way better and mpg went up. If it works don't question it

My 2003 7.3L with now 240K mile with me being the 3rd owner.. First and second owners were friends and many service records were passed down.. Far i am aware the injectors are original.. I have been using Hotshots EDT since the week i got truck with 163K miles. PO did not mention anything about running any sort of additive feel sure he did not or the other owner that got truck new. I usually run delo 15w40 and walmart supertech when delo was out.. truck starts up after WTS light goes out in like 2-3 seconds of turning key to start.. When i did the oil change we were in area near Fargo ND for harvest job,, sugar beets.. that usually runs from oct 1 to later part so weather is cool but not cold. towards the end which was pushed to oct 23 the weather had turned with some nice cold in the 17s at night.. I was able to get some 150 or so miles on the treated oil before it got super cold.. without plugging in truck it seem to start a bit quicker,, I count one thousand one, one thousand two and it was starting in some cold temps below 32 deg F.. As for as sound it appears to be the same but my truck was quiet, for a 7.3, due to other mod to oil cross over, installing back fuel port on driver side head to help with #8 noise etc. I was more impressed with the speed of starting in some cold temps.. Now with more than 2K miles the start is almost instant in cold, 35 deg. temps.. So i guess my injectors for 260 plus K miles are in good shape. We run a lot of TA, Petro, Loves truck stop fuels which and have different degrees of Bio diesel in them with our diesel discount card from myopenroads dot com.. so far so good for me. I will only do this the one time for now in oil. seem to be doing its job highly recommend. ... show more

I have had a 2002 F250 with 7.3l diesel since new. The truck now has 330,000 miles on it, and for the last few years I have been using the Hotshot fuel additive. Which works Great by the way, much faster starting in the cold with no smoke when warming up, and the engine just runs better. But, I have never added anything to the oil, at the suggestion of an automotive engineer I bought some Stiction Eliminator. At the last oil/filter change I put in the big jug /2 quarts of Stiction Eliminator and the rest the usual Delo. Wow, what a difference it took less than a couple hundred miles and the engine was noticeably quieter. I will now go to a maintenance level, with a smaller dose with every oil change. ... show more

Stiction Eliminator works as it claims it does. I’ve got a 16 D-MAX stock, nothing fancy or added performance items on my truck. I use HSS oil as well in my truck. I’ve noticed a quieter idle and a smoother drive since my last oil change. I’m a little over 2K miles into the change and I’m satisfied on the performance of HSS Stiction Eliminator. • I also use HSS Diesel Extreme, Everyday Diesel and LX4. All a excellent combination. Smooth run, less regens, increased MPG, no ticking etc. What works for me may not work for you, yet it is worth a try in my opinion. Best of luck. T.H. ... show more
