My wife got these for me for Christmas and Holy Smokes these things keep my beer frosty. It's been a while since I've used a glass that actually makes my drink colder when I use it, without watering it down. I'm sure everyone's different, but taste gets better when it's colder, and boy do these make a difference. Volume wise they are a little smaller that the amount of beer I expected them to hold, but the quality and how fun they are to use in general easily makes up for that. There's a little white silicone or rubber band around the main section like in the picture that helps quite a bit carrying this thing around or just holding it for a long period of time. It's pretty soft and the white marble pattern is pretty nice. Pro-tip, put them upside down in the freezer to help the get as much frozen surface are as possible. Only thing I was a bit disappointed with was that there really wasn't enough gel in mine to cover the reservoir completely when frozen. Still works great though!

I purchased this set of Host Freeze mugs as a Hanukkah gift for my husband, and they have quickly become the most used glassware in our home. If you are looking for a way to keep drinks genuinely cold without the dilution of melting ice, these are an absolute game changer. The build quality is immediately apparent upon unboxing. The double-walled construction feels sturdy and well-engineered, and the varsity blue cooling gel inside is both vibrant and functional. The silicone band around the center is a thoughtful design choice, providing a comfortable and secure grip while protecting your hand from the intense cold of the glass. It makes the pint set feel much more premium than a standard plastic freezer mug. In terms of performance, these mugs are outstanding. My husband uses them primarily for beer, and they keep his drink at a crisp, frosty temperature from the first sip to the very last. However, I have also found them perfect for iced coffee. I like my beverages really really cold, so I have always resorted to using lots of ice in my glass. Eventually, however, the ice melts and the drink becomes too watered down. Not ideal! So my huge preference is to use a frozen mug like this one, which provides a frozen wall to keep my drinks icy cold. Then I don't need to fill my glass with so much ice which ends up melting. This double-walled frozen mug is the perfect solution for me with my carbonated soda drinks, and for any beer drinkers too. I also love the frozen crystals that form on the inside walls. The grey rubber ring that wraps around the outside of the mug not only looks good, but it keeps my hand from getting too cold holding the glass. Another solution would be a mug handle. But if there was one improvement I'd like to recommend, it would come in a larger size. Even though it claims to be a freezable pint set, a full pint of liquid would come right to the rim and spill over. I have had larger mugs like these in the past and I much preferred a little larger capacity. So for that reason, I gave it 4 stars, not 5. If the bottom didn't taper in as much as it does, it would allow for more liquid inside, and it would also not be prone to tipping over as easily. A bigger footprint would also make the glass more stable.

The media could not be loaded. These freeze beer glasses are the truth! My husband had seen these and wanted for when we are at the pool. The order arrived fast and we used for the first time with domestic beer, then with an ale and then an IPA. Each drink was kept cold a very long time. There is a gel that moves inside the plastic and a grip that runs around the middle of the glass for easy holding.

These are awesome and work fabulously! We mainly use them for sodas because it keeps it crisp tasting until you reach the end and no ice so no watered down drink! Beer is also good, drink those much faster but it stays ice cold. Our first set must have been a defect because the seals broke and the gel leaked, but quickly was able to get a replacement with no issues yet. Highly recommend for any type of cold drink!
