I have a freestanding two door closet with a third door hiding 4 large open shelves, that measured 16”tall x 14.2” wide. It’s black inside & out. It’s hard to see what is on the shelf and to organize the shelf. I tried using shopping bags, like several small Sephora shopping bags that I had to pull it out to see what I put in it, and they didn’t hold much. So I started looking for shelves that were easy to put together, stack and yet be able to see what clothing was on the shelf. These shelves worked perfectly!!. I can use one shelf for pjs and roll up the bottoms and stack the tops. That’s one shelf. I stack another shelf on top of it and on that shelf I put T-shirts and shorts sets 6. Another set of shelves, I put panties on one and bras in the other. I just ordered 4 more stackers for two more open shelves, I can put a set of sheets in the top and extra pillow cases on the lower shelf. And in the bottom I can separate swim suits for summer one the top shelf and sun block lotions and sprays as well as sun glasses and chapstick etc. Each shelf has a lip the keeps things from falling out. My closet cabinet is black and impossible to see what’s there. With these white shelves I can see everything fairly easy. I added motion lights to hang next to the shelf and I can see even more easily without turning on overhead lights.

Glad I got this. I'll need more--I want to spread some out across the bottom floors of my closets throughout the house, then have some to stack upon each other like shelves. Finally, a place to hold our light bulbs, etc. After ending up with junk when I buy most things like these, I was delighted and relieved to see that THIS one is great! It fits snugly into each other to stack into a shelf, but also holds its own when just 1 level, spread across the floor of the closet or kids' rooms. It can hold clothing, shoes, linens and towels (it's quite sturdy and stable, even when stacked. And best of all, if I am looking for something I've placed in them at the bottom /floor of closets, I can just move them out of the way, remove 1 or more from the closet floor and voila, I'll easily find what I was looking for. (Before I had this, it meant I'd have to move around everything and it was hard to dust there, etc. Now easy to clean and dust--just take them out (keep the goods in the shelf/cubby) and vacuum, then return shelf/cubby back in its place. I thought that these bins were going to be a little sturdier. I wanted them for some extra pantry items but they couldn't handle that. I had to put dish towels instead. So if you need something lightweight, they're great. But anything with some.weight they won't slide and the sides collapse

I searched the four corners of the Internet until I found these organizers. I needed them for this linen closet in my basement that becomes a catch all closet in the summer, as it’s close to the pool and gets over used for pool towels, things people leave at my house, sun lotion, and pool supplies. There’s never been much organization to it, it just becomes a place where people wad things up and throw them in. When I analyzed the space I realized that much of my problem had to do with the space between each shelf, just being too large, which is great when you’re storing large items but when it’s just towels it becomes a disorganized mound of dysfunction that falls over and you can never find what you’re looking for. This very well-made, well-designed stackable rack fixed this for me, at least on the shelf it did. As you can see from the picture, they fit perfectly in my space and allowed me to store all the bathroom towels and earmark a space for sun lotion and bug spray, and I have room for more. These shelves stack in different ways so you can customize what you need. For a taller space you might want to get two packs and stack them three each, and I have contemplating getting another one and stacking it below the shelf in the bottom of the closet four high. They arrive in a box stored flat, they easily expand and install. They are excellent quality, durable, thick, and they fit together well to create a durable system.

I always search for products that can transform and fold flat when not needed, and these totally fit the bill. They are sturdy and there or not when you need them. Where they fall down a little is the bottom drawer is not designed to pull out, so that one's harder to access its contents. They should have designed an add-on track to snap onto whichever drawer gets designated as bottom. I would have also liked to have had a flat surface to cover the top one. I should have been an industrial designer... The cat loves it without the top on it, though.
