    • This cord assembly saved the day for a throw together church broadcast
The application was to take a sound mix off of a Soundcraft Impact Board to a PC so it could be combined with video so our church service could be live broadcast on Facebook. This cable worked brilliantly and did exactly what we needed it to do. 4 Stars for Sound Quality as the broadcast sound was 90% of what we recorded locally. Quality of the materials was 4 stars because the XLR connector was a cheapy but rugged enough to stay put in the board Aux Output port. This is a great and simple solution to get sound onto a PC for recording or for broadcasting. Very easy to setup and is mostly plug and play. If you need a solution for a powered feed, it works great. If you need to pull a feed from a condenser Mic or a Mic that needs phantom power, nope! You need to go through a preamp to get there using this cable. Worth the buy and I highly recommend it. ... show more

At first it didn’t recognize it and I had to restart my pc, it’s also blinking green instead of a solid green beam, however instantly I heard no background noise like wayyyy less than what I was having, and before when I would listen to myself on playback it would take a second this one I can’t even hear myself BECAUSE the delay is so little it also made my microphone need to be more near my mouth my white noise went away a lot but this is just one day of use and I am using a audio technica 2005usb ... show more

This has changed the quality of my live stream tenfold. I use this adapter out from my board in through an adapter to my phone and it's a game changer. I've dropped it, smacked it on the ground off of tables. It does a hell of a job.

Bought these to accessorize a mic I bought my partner as a gift. Of course, I bought in advance, so by the time they received and could try, it was too late to return. So $40 down the drain. This cord should connect my mic to my computer, it does not. I plug up, go to settings, I see usb appear but nothing works when selected. Maybe it needs more power going through it. Either way, this cable is not it. Big waste of time and money. Really wish I could return. ... show more

I had the same problem as others have mentoned. Volume was way too low and I couldn't get it boosted high enough. No problem with any other microphones on the PC, just this one.
