The fence material is excellent. Last year I used regular snow fencing and the rabbits chewed holes through it. They leave this material alone. We use it for a temporary winter pen for the dogs. Surround the workshop door. Let em’ out then back in. The zip ties included a quite frail and numerous ones broke just trying to feed the belt into the buckle. It is decent fencing and it withstood a severe wind and snow storm. Animals are eating holes in it though. But it’s perfect for what I needed it for. To keep my dogs out of the woods…until I can save for a real fence. Just the trash pandas (raccoons) chew holes in it.

The mesh is listed as triple strength or whatever - it is woven thread throughout, but each thread is hardly that much stronger than unwoven products. For my use, it was great as I was just deterring deer from getting at the plants. Getting it unwrapped to use just a 8ft piece took longer than putting it up! It would have been better had they wrapped it like plastic sheeting which is easy to unwrap. For that reason, I took off one star. Time will tell if the plastic wire ties are Truly UV protected - None work in my area at high altitude (4k ft). Overall, a good value. ... show more

I have a fence up to keep my dogs out of the garden, don’t mind my lab in the garden in the photo she was helping me put up the fence and she got stuck inside. Works well for behaved dogs. I am sure a determined dog can wiggle under it. I originally had chicken wire fence up but that looked horrible, was saggy and you could not get it tight. This fencing material is VERY durable! I posted it up just for 2-3 weeks to keep my two 80# pitbulls out of a section of the backyard that goes to dirt each winter. They would wrestle ONLY right there so the grass couldn't grow, lol. They were so mad! TWICE one of them forgot it was there and ran full-speed right through it! He was that focused on the neighbor's cat, lol. The fencing wasn't harmed a bit but both times my pole (a foot+ into the ground) got bent all the way over. Pretty thin but did the job. We needed something to keep the dogs out of an area on the lawn we were reseeding. Fortunately if she sees a barrier she doesn’t try to jump on it or she’d have broke right through it.
