Understandably this is a very inexpensive fabric so I gave it 4 stars because it's thin so it may be too sheer for some applications. I used it for costuming and it is very fragile but for light use, once steamed, it honestly looks like silk. It made a rich looking and beautiful costume. It has all the regular drawbacks of working with satin so make sure you research that before buying satin... it frays badly etc. I also have not washed it etc, no idea how it will hold up. ... show more
