  • Worked great, quality product
This wiring harness WILL absolutely work with the 2003 Honda Element. Verify it with manufacturer before ordering 2005 element and newer have a different plug. Install was very easy plug and play. Getting to the plug ( rear passenger panel behind the 12v power ) was the hardest part of the job. You don’t need the instructions its that easy. See photos. Hope this helps ... show more

  • Works well, extremely simple to install!
This product works nice, was easy to install, and hasn't caused any issues. Works with the existing wiring of the vehicle without any modification. The only complaint I have is that the directions were in text form, and the reference to the location of the "hidden" plug, confused me. Spent about 20 minutes searching before finding a video on youtube. Perhaps a simple black and white picture with an arrow would help. ... show more

  • Great buy!
For my car perfectly and worked great on my breaks. Just had to buy an adapter.

  • Works great, super easy install
This is plug and play. If you need help figuring out how to remove your interior panels to find the car plug, just search yootoob. Once you have that figured out, the rest of the install is super easy. In my car I fished around and found 2 plastic knock out plugs that I could route the cord through the car bottom, rather than draping it out the tailgate. ... show more

  • Wrong vehicle end for a Honda Element
Amazon’s fitment algorithm thinks this is a plug and play adapter for a 2005 Honda Element, but since Honda omits a compartment wire to energize the trailer plug is the spare tire well, and the source plug on this adapter doesn’t match the Honda wiring plug, not so much. Fortunately the function of each source wires is marked on the unit, so getting it to work by other means wasn’t hard. ... show more

  • Fits great on crvs not elements
This trailer harness plugged right into my factory wiring on my 99 honda crv. As others have said it does not fit the honda element models. The factory plug is different shape

  • Simple once you find the connector.
On my '96 Honda Accord the connector was attached to the wire bundle going to the driver side tail light. I was able to pull away the carpeted panel along the driver side of the trunk and hide all of the wiring. I found a drain vent down along the inside driver's side of the trunk under the panelling and was able to run the trailer light connector wire bundle out to my tow hitch. I wrapped the wires around the hitch bar and wire tied them in place. Plugged in the trailer lights and everything worked splendidly. Definitely was the right choice for my '96 Honda. ... show more
