Trail Bumper was very easy to install. Quality is above expectation with a very modest price tag. Very well constructed in my opinion. Looks awesome on my 2004 Jeep and adds a whole new level of protection from the stock bumper. Can't wait to get a winch to finish the front end.

I bought this when they were Opar. It's a great bumper that installed effortlessly. All holes lined up no problems. The lights were easy to hook up and everything worked right out of the box. Then about 5 months later I noticed the lights were losing their black paint. I sent a picture to Opar and they sent me new lights. Fast forward another year and this bumper still looks amazing. I've hit a couple of trees and a telephone pole arresting cable... not a scratch. But again... the lights are losing their paint. The lights are clearly a add in item and should be reevaluated. They dont hold their paint and the light they emit is pathetic. The good news is, any 4 inch square light pod should (emphasis on SHOULD) fit right in. I would subtract another star but Opar was legendary for their excellent customer service so I hope Hooke Road has kept up that tradition.

Nice looking front bumper. Had a small dent on one corner, would have been a pain to repack and return. Easy install. If you are using a winch, mount winch on bumper first then mount bumper. Definelty a 2 person Job.

Oh man am I ever disappointed! first off it did ship fast and I received it Quik! I was so excited to get this bumper to put my winch on that when I received it it just went downhill. Received a box with a bunch of holes in it! probably should put better packing to protect the corners a little bit, in between bent tabs crooked lights flimsy material... the fairlead mount was bent the brackets that mount to the frame had tons of space in between one was also bent, the fairlead hole it’s not big enough and will rub my rope doesn’t let it guide on the fair lead, it says it’ll hold or mount a 12,000 pound winch.... I feel like it would probably pull it off.... and to top it off the freaking name decal is upside down I had to go back to the page that I bought it from just to make sure it wasn’t done on purpose or wasn’t supposed to be like that are you kidding me how do you do that!!!!!! Back to the saying you get what you pay for!!!! MADE IN CHINA piece of junk!!! save your money and buy a good one or build one!!!!!!!!

The quality so far has been good (only 6 months into use). It looks good too. But one of the side lights won't stay flush. So after driving a little bit, if I use my lights it's pointing up or down. A little frustrating.

I was happy with the thickness of the metal and it seems to have a nice durable finish. Installation took less than 1 hour (minis hooking up the lights-still have not gotten to that) and it lined up perfect with no further adjustments needed. The grade 8 hardware that came with it was a nice bonus.

Bumper was intact but the box was destroyed on the sides which allowed the corners of the bumper to punch through. This then left the corners of the bumper missing powdercoating cause of the damage. OPAR needs to package the bumper with plastic protective corners! Bumper fit fine. Had no issues there. Welds looked good and the finish was better than expected for a China made bumper. Only thing to know before buying, the lights are junk. LITERALLY! They only glow. They do not put out any light whatsoever that is usable or even safe as daylight running lights. And yes they were hooked up properly using 16 gauge wire, even directly to the battery for light output testing before installing inline with the foglight OE circuit.
