I wanted to give this product 5 stars but there were a few issues. I honestly didn’t expect premium quality from a bumper that was half the cost of similar ones but was pleasantly surprised at the decent construction. It looked great and fit perfectly. However, I would suggest beefing up some of the welds in critical areas if you really were to use the 12k winch and would weld and add gussets to the bar. but for the cost it’s a great bumper. Now for the bad. They sent metric bolts vs standard bumper bolts and the stock T55 ones can’t be used on the top. I had to go buy new grade 8 bolts. The Bar threads were marred and requiring re-tapping. My biggest complaint was the shipping times, lack of FedEx transparency, playing soccer with the package, and damaging the bumper. The way fedex handled the package and damaged the bumper, I do not want to deal with any company that uses them again. They sent my package to the wrong coast, then lost my package. Took an extra week to get it to my area then showed out for delivery 3 straight days but never arrived nor could they actually tell me where it was . They dropped it multiple times damaging both ends of the bumper requiring me to grind and reshape the ends and repaint it. I filed a formal complaint with fedEx. Nonetheless, Customer service for U-box off-road was very accommodating and offered a decent discount for my troubles. I Suggested giving other shipping options vs FedEx. Hopefully they will. For the price and good customer service I would recommend this company and product with conditions and an understanding it’s an overseas product at half the cost of most bumpers.

About to buy another - was involved in an accident and the only thing that bent were the mounting brackets which can't be easily straightened out. Saved my entire front end and steering box! Definitely recommend if looking for a decent looking, functional bumper that will provide protection.

I was happy with the thickness of the metal and it seems to have a nice durable finish. Installation took less than 1 hour (minis hooking up the lights-still have not gotten to that) and it lined up perfect with no further adjustments needed. The grade 8 hardware that came with it was a nice bonus.

Bumper was intact but the box was destroyed on the sides which allowed the corners of the bumper to punch through. This then left the corners of the bumper missing powdercoating cause of the damage. OPAR needs to package the bumper with plastic protective corners! Bumper fit fine. Had no issues there. Welds looked good and the finish was better than expected for a China made bumper. Only thing to know before buying, the lights are junk. LITERALLY! They only glow. They do not put out any light whatsoever that is usable or even safe as daylight running lights. And yes they were hooked up properly using 16 gauge wire, even directly to the battery for light output testing before installing inline with the foglight OE circuit.

I bought this when they were Opar. It's a great bumper that installed effortlessly. All holes lined up no problems. The lights were easy to hook up and everything worked right out of the box. Then about 5 months later I noticed the lights were losing their black paint. I sent a picture to Opar and they sent me new lights. Fast forward another year and this bumper still looks amazing. I've hit a couple of trees and a telephone pole arresting cable... not a scratch. But again... the lights are losing their paint. The lights are clearly a add in item and should be reevaluated. They dont hold their paint and the light they emit is pathetic. The good news is, any 4 inch square light pod should (emphasis on SHOULD) fit right in. I would subtract another star but Opar was legendary for their excellent customer service so I hope Hooke Road has kept up that tradition.

Looks great, simple to install. The LEDs are not very bright, though. I use them as DRLs and they're well suited for that. But they won't work as fog/driving lights. I added a Harbor Freight 12,000 pound winch and it mostly bolted right up. I had to slightly elongate the mounting holes in the bumper, but not by much.
