I took my time before writing this review and did quite a bit of research on red light therapy panels, and the Hooga HG300 really checks the boxes I was looking for. One of the biggest things I paid attention to was wavelength, and this unit offers the proper red light spectrum for surface-level support along with the option to use near infrared for deeper penetration, which is exactly what you want in a quality red light device. The build quality feels very solid and durable, and it arrived extremely well packaged with everything protected. I also really appreciate that it comes with protective goggles, which shows attention to safety and makes it easy to use right out of the box. I did allot of YouTube research on red light and chose this plate over a mask - and I'm so glad I did! The unit itself is sturdy and simple. Turn it on, get ready for intense light, and set the timer. I feel with the plate and it's radiance I get full coverage on my face and neck (which is what I was looking for).     • The speed it took to eliminate my unbearable pain is truly incredible!

For 3 weeks I had been experiencing excruciating pain in my right upper shoulder blade and in my neck. Couldn't move my neck in any direction without feeling like I was being stabbed with a knife over and over again. Nothing was working to relieve this unbearable pain. I then remembered that my husband had bought a red light device in the 80's which was smaller than what I purchased and wasn't as powerful as this Hooga300. It took about 30 minutes and many days before you experienced what I experienced in only 3 days, set at 10-minute cycles. Upon awakening the next morning, I noticed that all the pain was gone. The technology has certainly advanced since the 80's and the price from what he bought it at has decreased 90.05%. My neighbor noticed that my neck swelling that he had been seeing was gone, neck looked normal again. Plan on using it on other areas of my body and definitely plan on using it on my face.
