The setup for this shelf *is* a bit tricky - you must follow the directions and check the pre drilled holes and ensure it all is correct, not tightening the screws all the way helped to line everything up. Alright so I wrote a hilariously harsh review before HOWEVER, Amazon granted me a full refund, no return. I can't hate what didn't cost me a dime. The problems I encountered: 3/4 of this went together beautifully, but then all the holes were off. It is not sturdy or functional because of it. It is also VERY difficult to take apart once it is together. Regardless? It's worth the risk if you can get a refund if it's drilled wrong. ... show more

I inserted the poles on the wrong side and the caps that hold them together are so tight you need to HAMMER them in. When trying to swap them after realizing my mistake the plastic anchor caps that hold the poles together snapped. About to take out my 60 dollar garbage. If you make one wrong mistake on this your whole shelf is trash and it’s irreversible. I wish I never bought this shelf and it’s not worth the headache. I’ve put together so many different build it yourself furniture options. This is the first one that basically was useless and becomes garage.
