This was a labor of love to put this together but the instructions were pretty clear (with the small exception being the package of screws not being labeled and it was rarely clear which screws they want you to use; like the K screws for example). I am very, very pleased with this. It never felt cheap and all the pieces aligned perfectly with the drilled holes and the other pieces. Pro tip, I had a drill and used the Allen wench bit, which made it a lot easier. It's a lot of work but look at the finished product in my pictures. The drawer worked so buttery smoothly, as do the casters. It feels quite durable and I never once got the impression it was a cheap knock-off of some more refined product. I find it classy and expect to cherish it in the years to come. Now to shine it up with some lemon oil if it takes it. ... show more

This is an attractive and functional kitchen island. It was very easy to assemble and it took only 90 minutes. All of the parts were there and everything fit perfectly together. Directions were well written and the parts were well labeled. Except for the screws - I wish they had continued the labeling to the packages of screws. There were some markings but not all of them were easy to figure out. It is a well made cabinet and very sturdy. It is heavy so it would be helpful to have another person to help hold pieces while you are assembling but not necessary. My only real issue was the number of screws that needed the allen wrench. I have arthritis and it is difficult for me to use these. (Allen wrench was included though). I wish they had made more of the screws regular screws that could be put in with a screwdriver. We just put it together a couple weeks ago so haven't used it a lot yet, but it seems pretty sturdy & easy to roll. The shelves behind the doors are slightly awkward to get things off of, but not terrible. I like the storage on the inside of the left door; however, it limits what you can put on the bottom shelf because it runs into it. We chose to not put the handle on the left side because it would not fit in the area we wanted it with that on, so we only have the right side spice rack on which doesn't hold much. I'm using this as a night stand because it has power outlets and is the perfect height. Instruction that came with it are better than most. It goes together easy if you follow the instructions. The kitchen island seems nice and sturdy.
