This is a nice simplistic compact desk that works great for many uses, especially as a small laptop desk. The power strip that can be set to either side with the USB ports (Either side - your choice, set at time of assembly) on the side is a great addition too. Very easy to assemble and comes with a nice reusable Allen wrench too. I added glue to the wooden dowels in the first few steps to help make it a little more sturdy even though it is not really needed.

I needed a desk to work on some hobbies separately from my work desk. I specifically needed a small desk that could fit in a tight space. I saw a couple of cheap desks on Amazon, and ultimately chose this option, due to the fact that it would come in two days and it was relatively inexpensive. I am very impressed with how well this desk works for its price, and I was excited to begin using it for my art. I like the desk a lot because of its size and features, but it could be improved in the manufacturing process. When I received the package, the box was comically small. I was really confused when I opened it, as I was sure that they had sent me the wrong package. However, I was quickly mistaken, as it did indeed contain all of the materials necessary to build the desk. When built, it's a bit shorter than 3', which is perfectly fine for me and for what I am doing on the desk. It's a bit tall for its size, which, while I am not the hugest fan of that, my chair already sits high enough to use the desk properly since my other desk is also fairly tall. It sits between my bed and desk, which has a bit less than four feet of space. However, it works very well in keeping a compact amount of space while allowing me to do my work. This desk took me around an hour to build. To build the desk, you will first take out all of the parts (4 wooden tiles, leg poles, mounting brackets, and the necessary hardware). I would organize all of the poles together, and the hardware should stay in its bag. You will place the wooden tiles as instructed in the manual using the included wooden pegs, and then attach the metal mounting brackets onto the wooden tiles to secure them in place. Next, follow the instructions for attaching the bracket poles to each other. You will then screw them together, and then screw the poles into the desktop (Tip: screw the bracket poles loosely into the table, and tighten once you have attached the legs). Next, the instructions will have you work on the legs, and you will similarly connect the poles onto each other, then screw them into the desktop. It is important that you orient the table exactly in the direction you want the power supply to face. Once you have screwed them in (and tightened every screw from the previous steps), you will attach the back poles and support beams onto the desk (they ask you to attach the support beams under the front of the desk, but I chose to mount them on the back of the table, to free up space near my working area). Finally, connect the power supply onto the end and plug it into an outlet. I not only like the dual-tone aesthetic of the desk, I also really like the included power supply that can be mounted on the side. You have the option of placing the power supply on either end of the desk, which works really well with the mounting leg systems that are included. I only have two light panels plugged into the provided USB ports. One is a USB-C port, and while I love that it is included, I have to use an adapter for the second light. However, I am happier that they do provide the USB-C port as well, as I can use that port to charge my phone or computer if I need to. I really like this product, but there are some other aspects that I can see that could be improved to greatly benefit the product. I am not super confident in the power supply on the desk, as it feels unsafe to have that much power run through a cheap power supply. I only use it for my lights, and I feel the most comfortable leaving the power supply unplugged while I am not using it, as to not draw unnecessary power. Additionally, I also think that the actual construction of this product is flawed from its manufacturing. Don't get me wrong, the legs and the desk feel really sturdy, and I don't fear the desk failing due to weight. But while building, I noticed that some of the bars that need to be shoved into each other were warped. Some bars were very difficult to connect together, and I was afraid that the legs would not go on and/or I would cut myself from pressing pieces too hard. Thankfully, I managed to shove each leg into the correct spot without harm to the desk or to my leg. However, because some pieces came warped, mounting the legs onto the desktop itself became super challenging. At one point, while fixing the legs onto the desktop, I had to physically unscrew all the screws connected to the desk until I could mount all of the screws into their pilot holes. It was a pain in the butt; however, with just a bit of effort, it came together with relative ease. If you have built desks or other furniture, you shouldn't have many other problems, but do be prepared to put more effort into this desk than other desks. Finally, for its price, the only benefit of this desk in comparison to other major furniture brands is the added power supply on the side. I can get a similar desk at another (unnamed) retailer for a similar, if not lower price. But, at the end of the day, the convenience of getting it delivered in a short amount of time is worth it to me, and I was not upset at the extra features that were provided. Overall, I really do enjoy the desk. It works exactly what you would expect a $50 desk to perform like, with the added power supply benefit. The construction was a bit challenging to work with, but at the end of the day, I was still able to connect it all together. I enjoy the power supply added onto the desk, and it has enough space for me to work on. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who was looking for a desk and wanted the extra features.

I work from home a couple days a week and needed a desk that will allow me to get the job done without taking up too much space. It can bee configured with the power strip on either the left or the right side, and there are convenient hooks for things like headsets on the opposite end. It is plenty sturdy enough for the job, and was a breeze to assemble.
