I have a lot of bamboo in my home, it's inexpensive and looks good. A lot in my kitchen and in my bathroom. This is the only item I have that is mildewing, just from being near my bathroom sink. The one intended for toothbrushes in particular should be designed to resist the effects of casual contact with water, but all of them are getting black mildew on the bottom. I removed them from use because of this. I literally have a bamboo mat coming out of my shower. It's constantly wet. No mildew. Same room as these were in. ... show more

    • Starting to rust after 4 months
After only 3-4 months it began to rust around the soap dispenser. And has begun turning colors. We clean it often but it’s beyond repair now.
