I am obsessed with this color! I literally go into panic mode when I can't locate my blood orange Honest lip balm now. I am the type of girl who wants a simple and moisturizing lip color, but I don't like to wear lipstick, and I love a good lip balm. Pretty much every time I wear this color I get compliments. I have naturally rosy colored lips but I just wanted a somewhat subtle hint added to them, without it looking like I'm wearing a lot of makeup and this is by far the best option I've tried in my adult life! I used to buy baby lips but it's not nearly as pigmented as Honest blood orange is. I'm typically not an orange fan, but this doesn't look orange at all to me, it's more of a perfect natural pink in my mind. I have recently been preaching about Honest products to every person I know that likes a nice lip balm with tint. Moisturizing, but color doesn't last. I ordered the Blood Orange out of curiosity. I normally stay away from orange and truthfully, the "orange" worried me more than the "blood", since i usually stick to a cooler palette. One swipe of this is actually pretty neutral and close to my natural coloring. The color is buildable, but it does lean more to an orangish hue after one or two swipes, which doesn't suit me. I wouldn't describe this as sticky, but I could feel it on my lips. I didn't notice any scent. It does have a bit of sheen, but makes my no make up days look a little more polished. I think the only minus is that the color doesn't last, but it is a balm and not a stain or lipstick. I also have the Dragonfruit shade and it is also close to my natural coloring at one swipe. The packaging is beautiful but the formula is ok. It’s not smooth, it doesn’t glide on your lips. It’s tough, you have to put on a couple of coats to get a good level of moisture in your lips. It tints your lips though. Lastly, it dries out fast so you have to reapply a lot.

Love this lip balm, color I purchased fruit punch its a nice natural peach color. Leaves my lips hydrated and shiny. Im so glad that I found this brand "Honest Beauty" with no toxic chemicals. I will definitely continue buying from this brand. Thanks Honest Beauty for making great products! : )

Finally, there's a tinted lip balm that's perfect for all ages! This flavor free, perfume free, moisturizing lip balm replaces lip stick and chap stick & gloss. I love it so much that I threw away ALL my other lip treatments and bought 2 sets of 3 colors; 1 set for home and 1 for my purse.

It rates highly on the Yuka app meaning it is clean, there is no fragrance, and it just gives the most beautiful wash of color while still being moisturizing. Its has good amount of tint without trying to show off at work. The product is solid wont melt and glides nicely. They made a perfect formulation. I also got summer melon which is close to coral perfect for my olive tone. I want to try all colors now. Great price for the quality.

This balm goes on easily, and offers a decent amount of moisturizer. I like the texture and feel and appreciate that it's not sticky at all (I hate sticky lipstick). But the scent, for me, is a little off-putting - kind of reminds me of playdough that little kids play with. I only notice it right when I'm applying it. No detectable taste at all.
