I needed a new sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer and after days of viewing video reviews, I chose this CCC Cream. I'm a loyal user of the Honest baby lotion because it's what my face demands; believe me I've tried many fancy brands but they eventually cause redness/irritations. I was apprehensive about the color match. I'm 2N1 with the EL double wear light. I chose Tundra (the lightest color) even though I had thought maybe Alabaster would be better but too late to cancel the order. Finally got it today and I used a few tests to see how matching it was for me: applied w/ beauty sponge, used fingers, used setting powder afterwards, used 15X mirror to see if it settled into fine lines, took selfies to compare with previous photos with no face products, Results: medium moisturizing, no shiny pearly sheen (great!), brightens face with sheer coverage, NO scent, no heavy feel on face, w/ 15x mirror I see it settled on pores & lines. It's a good daily sun protection w/ gentle coverage. Although I got the lightest color, it smoothed/worked into my skin and balanced the color, kind of flat white colored... I had to use a bronzer to give it dimension. Will not repurchase. After using it for 3 days, a wet beauty blender seems to work best with this. ... show more

I’ve been using this product for a few months now and I love that it’s light but still covers well. The small bottle goes a long way. I don’t feel like I need to use a lot of it to get the coverage I need.

This CC Cream has good coverage and stays in the face for a long time without granulating/falling apart. The color tonality is a bit strong and the finish is more smooth, so it shines a bit (no glitter, but more like a “liquid” shine), so be prepared for that. This product does not tend to create a natural look, but that is not a knock against it if you have no problem with make up ... show more

I have been simplifying my skincare and cosmetic routine over the last few months. The EWG recommends Honest Beauty as one of the cleanest brands, along with that, it's at a more affordable price point than most of their recommended brands, so I gave it a try. This is not a full coverage foundation by any means: it's lighter and sheer like a BB creme. It tints the skin and evens out the complexion, but it lets your natural tone show through-- and that's my preference. Along with that, it has sunscreen, vitamin C, and other moisturizers. It's a barely-makeup kind of makeup. My only criticisms are that it could blend a little smoother. I have dry skin and I feel like it clings to my dry patches a little, so I have to apply it directly after moisturizing. I also ordered the lightest shade and it's still just a little too dark/warm-tinted for me. But that could be because it's winter and I live in the North, so it may be a better match for me come summer. ... show more

Color: Terra Light
If you have somewhat fair skin, Tundra is probably your shade!! I ordered the Terra shade after looking at the swatch images and reading reviews, however, it is too dark and more of a medium-skin shade. I have not tried the Tundra, but it seems like it is the only true light shade option. I get somewhat tan in the summer and am light/pale in the winter, but Terra is too dark for me. Possibly it'd be the right match after a week spent at the beach, but for everyday wear it is not for lighter skin tones in my opinion! I bought this because the ingredients are much safer and less toxic than most CC creams, so I appreciate that aspect of the product! Just wish they would update their shade images to match descriptions. I also wish there was a neutral tone fair-skin shade, as it seems the only options are cool for light skin or very warm. ... show more
