I'm admittedly super picky about the softness of my bedding. After trying and returning multiple more expensive duvet covers, I ordered this one just to hold me over till I found the "perfect one". I had no idea what to expect because I wasn't sure what "cationic" meant, but was quite surprised as soon as I pulled it out of the package-- it's much softer than the microfiber covers I've tried, and nearly as soft as the jersey knit ones (not quite as thick of fabric, but definitely very soft!) The geometric shapes are not printed, but have the look and feel of distressed-edge patches (not embroidery or tufting, but definitely soft and not rough or stiff), which gives it dimension and a more high-end feel than printed covers. I will note that the light brown is still a cool color, and the white is definitely true white, not cream or off white in any way. So if you are looking for more of a warm or cream/ivory based bedding, this would not be the right choice. I am using this duvet cover with a down-filled insert, but I have it layered over a weighted blanket, so I was actually very pleased that the duvet cover didn't add much weight. I was also very happy to see that it has 8 tie points (one on each corner and one in the middle of each side), vs. only 4 corner ties, as some of the more expensive ones I've tried have had. (It's frankly ridiculous to expect only 4 corner ties to keep a queen-sized duvet insert in place!) All in all, this duvet cover may not be a "fill in", after all-- it may just be the end of my search for the perfect blend of comfort and neutral texture! ;)

This is a beautiful embroidered duvet cover in a gorgeous gray fabric. Seems to me gray is the new "in" color, and this is a wonderful example of gray duvet cover sets or comforters. The tufting is done very well and looks as if it will stay put. The duvet cover seems very well made. It's very comfortable and cozy, very soft, and wrinkle-free, which is a great thing in my book. This duvet cover set could be used in any bedroom in your home and would complement almost any shade of rug or carpet. I love the detail of the tufting and the fact that it doesn't wrinkle. I also love the colors in this duvet cover. The pillow shams are also very well made and very pretty. I'd planned to use this in one of my guest bedrooms, but now I'm not sure about that. This is a wonderful duvet cover set with unique embroidery and very well done tufting. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a high quality duvet set that will last a long, long time at a great price. This duvet cover is easy to handle and slip off and on your duvet. This would also make a wonderful gift for anyone going off to college or moving into their first apartment. It would be wonderful for both sexes. This is definitely a five-star product that we will enjoy for a long, long time.

I have had this set for a month now and so far very satisfied with it. It is so very soft and comes out of dryer absolutely wrinkle free which I love really about it. I love the feeling of it’s fabric against skin. I do recommend to turn it inside out and then put in the dryer just to keep the trims safe.
