I have a relatively larger cat (~11-12 lbs and 19-21 inches long). She always looks so cramped in most cat trees and beds, so I was drawn to the the large dimensions of all the laying areas on this cat tree. I was willing to give it a try despite the lack of reviews and a few negative ones based on some aspects that seemed like I could adjust for (1. difficulty to assemble, 2. pompom that when screwed in too tightly might push through the food bowl landing, and 3. the top bed platform cutting into the fabric bed's elastic fitting material [All very true concerns!]). Don't screw the pompom in more after feeling the slightest resistance! (There is nothing but the thin wood veneer covering keeping that screw from pushing through!) And for the upper platform, either round down the sides or put some soft padding (I used some of the packing material) around the corners and Very Carefully stretch the fabric bed elastic around the platform. Also, yes, this cat tree is quite complicated to assemble (and I am pretty good at constructing things and recently constructed another larger 72" cat tree from Go Pet Club with ease). I would advise giving it your full attention when doing this construction to save yourself some frustration. The instructions are not very helpful at all. (They are just a diagram of what the tree should look like fully assembled, with some part numbers or letters to show you where different pieces should go.) I advise building it from the ground-pieces up (I don't think it works otherwise). Also, I think one thing that really messes folks up is that the very base foundation piece does not have symmetrical holes and it is not clear which side is supposed to face up (in my package the bottom side had the letter sticker). Technically, you could use either side to be in the up position depending if you want the cat box on the left or right side, but realizing that you will have to compensate for that when putting it together. I got the base wrong at the beginning because I was trying to do two things at once and didn't notice the asymmetric hole placement. The cat box side has the holes closer together, and the base is ever so slightly a rectangle, not a square. So each hole really should be labeled to be more obvious. Each base pole (sisal vs carpet and long vs short) must go into a specific hole to match up with the diagram. I got half way up the construction before realizing the base was upside down and was not matching the diagram on the product insert. Also, the cam locks that hold the cat box together don't fit very well and they leave a gap between all the joints. This might be because of the poorly fitting plastic pieces that you fit the dowel screws into or it might be because the dowel screws are too long. It's hard to tell. In addition, from a cosmetic perspective, the food bowl platform mine came with had scratches on the surface right out of the box (my cat hasn't been introduced to the tree yet, in case I can't get replacement pieces and decide to return it). While this is annoying because you'd hope when you order something new it will be pristine for a while. I assume my cat will eventually scratch the surfaces at some point, so this alone wouldn't be enough for me to return, but still it might matter to others. Unfortunately, even ready to compensate for some of these flaws, I received a package that was missing a couple of the pieces, including the food bowl and the piece labeled "H" (the front arched entry side of the cat box). Fortunately, these pieces were not crucial to constructing the tree, but I currently don't have a front entry piece for the cat box and a giant empty whole that my cat could fall in and hurt herself. I will update this review if I can get in contact with the seller. Overall, I still think this product has great potential, but they need to work out several details to make this a really polished product. If you are willing to make some adjustments and hopefully get a complete product shipment... maybe this is the cat tree for you... Update 8-17-2023: I was able to get in contact with the seller, and they apologized for the incomplete shipment. The customer service was very nice and accommodating. They made things right and I'm satisfied with how things turned out in the end. I really think this cat tree design has great potential and hope they continue to improve their design! I would love to order it again if improvements are made. 😊

This was a bit confusing to assemble but there was also user error. Once built, it is a little wobbly as the screws are on the bottom and offset it a bit. But my cat hasnt knocked it over or anything and climbs up it all the time! She loves the height for stretching and the food bowl is such a plus! (my dog cant reach it finally)

I just love how this looks in my living room. It was fairly easy to put together by myself, although I would suggest having a second person to make it go faster.

We really like this tree. Fairly easy to build and looks good. Our guy is pretty big, part Maine coon, and he has a little trouble getting up it because how compact everything is. He figures it out though.

The media could not be loaded. My cats absolutely love this item! They are already tearing up the scratch posts which keeps them away from tearing up my bed. My bigger cat is 19lbs and he can still fit in all the components. They both love the hammock the most. He does have a hard time getting around the middle tier with the bowl but still manages to get to the top. It holds them both well and I haven’t seen any wobbling. 10/10 buy and it is such a cute addition to my room remodel.

Like other(s), I was worried because of the lack of reviews. It does look really nice and is built with decent materials, but those “instructions” were basically “do everything in a single step” lol. Not hard to figure out, but you do have to pay attention to the orientation of some pieces before you screw stuff together. I think my cats prefer the old one I’m giving away, but this looks so nice I had to do it (other one was falling apart too). No major complaints in terms of the overall -built- product, but I will say I wish it came with corner protectors. Watch your feet.
