Great buy! My toddler had a blast his first time flying a kite! Even though it was exceptionally windy, the kite held up really well. Once it got too windy to safely fly it, I just held the body of the kite and my son had a blast trying to catch the super long ribbon at the end. It was like a 2-for-1 toy lol. Bought this and flew it during a day of strong winds. 25+ mph gusts and the little kite held together (but was flexing). Winds were strong enough that my kid couldn't hold on to it. Not shabby!

We’ve had this kite for a fair bit of time now. If you take the time to unwind the rotation tension in the string it flies very well. This entails letting all of the string out and pinching the twist toward the swivel clip. Today, after getting the kit about 15’ in the air the string started to catch. I looked down and saw that the spindle gave. I plan on respooling it onto a scrap piece of wood as I’m sure a similar replacement part wouldn’t last very long anyway. Not a bad kite by any means, but I’m not impressed with the longevity of the components either. We’ll fix it and keep it since the kid enjoys it so much! ... show more

The kites is cute, my son was very excited to play with it. We've waited weeks for a windy day and when we finally got one today, and put it together, it was missing the correct pieces to put it together. Rods were too short and wouldn't connect. It looked like spare parts were sent instead. Of course, now I'm outside of the return window. ... show more
