I got finally flew it yesterday. I flew it on the one year anniversary of my moms celebration of life and it happened to be Mothers day as well. She loved flying kites and tying a bunch of string together to get them out so far you could barely see them. So I decided to attach this to my Muskie trolling rod that has like 700 yards of braided line on it and towed it behind my boat. Mom would have been sooooo excited to see that. I had it so far out even the people on the lake couldn't figure out what it was. That being said this thing is weird looking. It looks almost alien like. Very interesting. Really love this kite! Took it with me when I went camping at a windy beach. I love that when it's in the bag it's small and easy to carry around but when you open it to use the size is nice and large! Color of the purple one is awesome and the tentacles are really long and cool looking while in the air. My friends and I really enjoyed using it and the kids playing on the beach also complimented it to me as they walked by with their families. Very easy to use and worked perfectly with good quality. Flies really well and very easy to use. I like that it floats to the ground gently instead of crashing like a framed kite. The only issue is that the strings are are just tied through holes in the fabric without reinforcement like metal grommets so if it's too windy it will probably rip.
