The duct vent from Hon & Guan arrived timely and were easy to install. I did not rate them on their sturdiness as I just received them. They are installed on an exterior shed, I will update my rating after a few months to see if they have a stainless steel resistance to rust.

Great quality vent. Two came in the box. This fitted well along with the duct that I purchased. It looks clean and it has a bug safeguard . No bugs crawling into this vent. It was easy to put on and I even have a spare one.

    • Not Designed For Easy Regular Cleaning

So this style is not convenient for me. Although we have a lint filter in our dryer, lint does get by it and tends to accumulate behind the vent cover. The cover I have now has a plastic grid that can easily be removed to remove this excess lint. The grid on this cover cannot be removed if it is screwed into the siding. Unfortunately this vent cover fits loosely enough where it definitely would need to be screwed into the siding. So we would have to unscrew it from the siding every time we wanted to clean it out. And honestly, I would not like how inconvenient that would make it to clean out the lint. I clean lint out of my dryer vent monthly. But I am not usually carrying a screwdriver, so I could see me getting lazy about it. A way to detach the cover easily could make this product easier for us to use and provide a way to keep it safe and lint free. ... show more
