I currently have bags of clothing in it and odds and ends that I need to hold on to and go through this storage unit has been sturdy and out in the winter all winter and it still looks amazing. Once I got all the parts out and stood up the base it was pretty intuitive to set up. Make sure all the pieces snap or lie together and you will save yourself some heartburn. I am a 70 year old grammy and was a bit hesitant to purchase this item since a lot of reviews stated that it takes two persons to assemble. I had no problems assembling it by myself. I spent more time studying the instructions than actual assembling. Took approximately 4 hours, but I was also watching TV at the time I was doing it. I was not disappointed in the time I spent on assembly, but that being said, there are two things that would have made the job easier and quicker. First of all, it would have been helpful to me if the instructions would have clearly stated whether the top and bottom panels are interchangeable or if they are not. Therefore I very carefully studied all the pictures as well as all the panels. Don't know if I just got lucky, but everything went together perfectly the first time. But as I said, would have been nice if directions included this info. The second thing: Had the screwdriver been magnetized, I would have spent a lot less time looking for dropped screws. The cabinet looks really nice, but for the price I had expected it to be more solid construction. The panels are somewhat thin and flimsy, but once put together it doesn't wobble like I thought it might. I just wish the panels were all a bit heavier/thicker. So, as to waterproof and sturdiness, I will have to update in a year or so. I have it on my back porch which has a roof, so it won't be getting rained on. As for sturdiness, I have 9 grandkids, 5 of them boys who are pretty rough and tumble. I will be storing a lot of their toys in the cabinet, so we'll see how it holds up. ... show more

They sent the wrong color lid. I complained that it didn’t seal correctly. They told me to send a picture and they will send new parts if needed. They replied back saying the top is the wrong color and to just put it out of the sun in a cool spot. They credited me $20. What a joke. I live in west Texas! Where it only gets cold a few months of the year. I asked about the replacement lid and nothing. They told me if I’m not happy to just send it back. So I did. Horrible product, horrible customer service. Only thing they did right was pay for shipping back and refunded me my money. DO NOT BUY from this seller!!!!!!! ... show more

Great size! Looks nice. 2 person assembly. Instructions aren’t written well. The lock doesn’t fully line up but we don’t need a pad lock in it. It gets the job done to hold our cushions. I thought the plastic would be a bit harder. So it’s a bit flimsy. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone that lives on the east coast weather because I don’t think it would withstand snow, a lot of rain etc. living in a dry climate…it works. Also, I think for the quality it’s a bit over priced. ... show more
