Must amend this review. The instructions were found, not a piece of paper but sewed inside the stuff bag. Just unboxed this baby and got it up, but not with some initial mistakes. [That’s because it doesn’t come with any directions, not even a picture of it.]-delete. I’m an experienced camper and have put up multiple style and size tents. Yet without a picture or written instructions, you have to guess does the poles go diagonally across the top from corner to corner as in most dome tents or are they crossing somewhere else, (with one pole anchored to both front pins and the other pole anchored to both back pins crossing more to the sides). Once I went back to check the photo on Amazon, I surmised it was the latter. With that knowledge, it went together easily. It’s bigger than I had anticipated, but better too big than not big enough. The material is quite thin nylon and not ripstop nylon, so it’s more fragile like nylon stockings. Forcing the poles through the sleeves front and back could rip it. You have to make sure the material is not hung up on one of the ferrules that connect the segments of the poles. It’s best to thread the poles through the sleeve, then to their respective anchors and then attached the clips. I’m using it outdoors and I’ve put a tarp under it to decrease the possibility of something poking through the thin nylon. This will fulfill my needs nicely. Disassembling this was very easy, just reverse of putting it up. Unclip all the clips, undo the anchors and pull/push the poles thru the sleeves. Be careful not to get hung up a ferrule. Using more force will rip it. It’s a great product for the price. Putting it back into its respective stuff bags was easy. I could have built a makeshift paint booth but time and materials would cost about the same as this tent. I took one star off because it should of had instructions or just a picture. ... show more

I'm repainting my kitchen cabinets, and using an HVLP sprayer. It's winter, so I didn't want to do it outside. For what I'm saving by doing it myself, the price of this shelter is negligible. I figured it'd be made as cheaply as possible, but work a few times. I was really pleasantly surprised how well made this is, and some of the thought that went into it. First, there's no confusing assembly of poles. There are only two long, segmented poles already connected with the elastic cord, so no fumbling around to find the correct ones. After sliding each through the fabric slots on top, using the connected nylon hooks that just pop onto the poles pull the "tent" outward and upward to maximize the interior space. Although it doesn't have a bottom, the interior flap around the interior bottom allow you to place something on the fabric to stabilize it. The mesh door is easy to roll up, and has an easy loop "button" mechanism to hold it open. The fabric is super lightweight, and allows exterior light thru it, so you don't have to place a light inside while spraying. I didn't use it outdoors, but it's nice that it comes with stakes if you want to use them. There's a separate bag to insert the poles in, so you won't tear the fabric when sliding them in with the tent into the outer bag. Most items like this, you'd have assembly instructions on a loose piece of paper that would get lost. This, ingeniously, has a permanent instruction page sewed into the storage bag, so it'll always be there - when you forget how to assemble a couple of years later. Absolutely LOVE my Wagner paint tent!!! Can’t say enough about it! Very easy to assemble. I do assemble it by myself, but I’ve also had my daughter help me as well and it’s quick and easy. I use it very often and it’s such a good size. My first project I used the tent for, was all my homes upstairs interior doors that I painted and I was able to put my folding saw horse and the door in the tent. I love the ability to close the front of the tent so there isn’t any dust or debris that can get on my items as they dry. The tent is very durable just as a camping tent feels. I’m also 5’9” and can fully stand inside if I choose to when spraying items. ... show more

In pursuit of my hobbies, I sometimes have occasion to do some rattle can spray painting. I don't do nearly enough of it to justify buying one of those fancy hobby spray booths. Usually, I just go outside and do my spray painting on old newspapers. Living in New England, there are several months each year during which this is not feasible. Those short, dark, depressing winter days are the times when I need my hobbies the most. Our garage is unheated and so, unsuitable. I built my own spray booth out of corrugated boxes, but it's only marginally satisfactory. It's difficult to see what I am doing. It doesn't fold flat, so when it's not in use, it's an elephant sitting in a corner of my hobby area. One of the things I like about this spray booth is that it folds into a small flat package. More about that later. Amazon, in their desire to be loved is continually making 'suggestions', allegedly based upon my prior purchases. I can't imagine which of my purchases they based this suggestion on, but it looked like a pretty good idea. I chose the small size, which is huge in terms of the projects that I am normally working on. It pops up easily, and the fabric is translucent, allowing enough light to filter through that I can see what is going on. There's a velcro panel in the back wall which will allow the addition of an exhaust fan. The issue of fumes should not be ignored, especially if you are spraying in an enclosed space. So far, I haven't felt the need, but my spray projects are small quick ones. I have to say that folding this thing back up is weird and fiddly. If you lack patience, you will probably find it frustrating. Your only chance is to follow the instructions that are sewn into the cover. So far, I've only used this 3 times, so it may be I will develop the knack with further use. Would I buy this again? I think so. Not having used it for a long term, I can't speak to it's durability. Love this paint booth. I paint a bunch of 3D Printed props and this makes going from a large carboard box to a real paint booth a no brainer! All you need is a cheap box fan and a cheap central air filter. I use this in my garage with the door open and the fan pointing out to the street and it works perfectly. I also like how large this booth is, I can easy fit large props in it and have plenty of room to work around the item. The walls of the booth are transparent enough that you get a pretty good level of light through but I would assume over time the walls will get overspray and reduce light over time. I will likely add some cheap LED lighting on a tripod as I continue to use this booth. Stowing the booth is easy once you figure out how to fold the booth and place it back in the bag/case that comes with the booth. I can easily stow it away with my paint equipment as the footprint is very slim! Definitely a great buy at this price point and would highly recommend it! ... show more

The tent is very easy to put up by yourself, after you’ve done it a couple of times. Takes about ten minutes. The large size is very spacious. However, the flaps where the poles are fitted through ripped about 3 uses in, which is sadly too late to return. So I am buying something stronger.
