I got the white. I think it's resistant to the elements, but I don't think it's mold proof. I would make sure it's not touching the ground, and I wouldn't leave it outside full time. It's almost mosquito netting, it's pretty transparent. It provides minimal privacy. It doesn't zip together, so it's not 100% bug proof. If using for shade, please realize it does provide some sun shading but I don't think it provides any UV protection. The grommets are stainless, which is rust resistant, but no guarantee against rust. As I said, I wouldn't leave these out full time. They are machine washable. You can put them in the dryer, but it's probably best to just hang them back up on your gazebo or porch to dry. ... show more

We got these realizing we were ordering sheers, but these are even thinner than we expected. That being said, the fabric is good quality and they are sewn well.
