These curtains feel good quality. The light beige is more of a gray. The rings on the top are kind of ugly. They do no blackout as they are a bit off the wall. I even tried taping them to the wall to get the room darker. I think I should have gotten blackout curtains with the fabric pockets on the inside instead of the metal rings so it lays flat against the rod and let’s less light in.

The shade of blue is very lovely, light but still a pop of color. They are just the right size for my windows. The material is just a little stiff and still has the lines in it from where it was folded, so I will have to iron them out sometime. But otherwise great curtains!

I don't know what it is but the last 4 times I've purchased curtains (in a year) it has been fron different companies through Amazon. All have been the right weight, good coloring, easy to hang. I feel great about HOMEIDEAS curtains.

If you are looking for complete blackout curtains, then this isn't the one for you. They make the room a lot darker, which meets my needs, however they are touted as being able to block light at 100% - not the case. The light escapes from all four sides, but mostly from the top, due to the grommet holes and the positioning of my curtain rod. (Note: I also have closed mini blinds behind my curtain - see picture.) The picture actually enhances the look of the light. The light wasn't really that strong. It would help if the manufacturer added magnets to the inside seams of the panels on the sides where the panels meet. I had to keep moving the panels so that the light wouldn't shine through the space between them. The curtains arrived somewhat wrinkled due to packaging, so they needed to be pressed or steamed. I chose to steam mine after I hung them, and found that it worked best if I steamed a small section on the front, and then steamed the same area on the back immediately. They looked much better after this process. I do love the color (Light Beige) and linen texture. They look nice hanging.

I have these 2 narrow windows in my god daughter's room and she sleeps better when it is darker. I used to have these sheer like decorative curtains but she wanted more darkness. I love how wide they are because even for a narrow window I am able to widen it and have good folds. The only con I had was the back is the same fabric, some black out curtains have a white liner on the back to prevent fading. These windows don't get a lot of direct sun so I don't have to worry as much about fading and can block out more light.

These curtains look much higher quality than the price point, and I was very impressed! They are very well made and look like they will withstand the test of time without any issues. The grommets made them very easy to hang, and are sewn nicely into the curtains. Overall, I am pleased and they get the job done!

These blackout curtains are better than I expected. When I first opened them, I wasn’t sure. The dark gray looked lighter than I’d imagined, the grommets seemed pretty large. But the texture of the fabric looked and felt good. They were easy to hang. The window is about five feet wide and four feet high. The curtain rod was mounted about three inches above the window and three inches to each side. I’d thought this length (63”) might have been too long, but for darkening the room, these are a good length. This is a west-facing window that gets very strong direct sun late in the day in the summer, so much so that the room gets very hot. There is a set of blinds over the window, too. The purpose of ordering these curtain is to darken and shield the room from the intense summer sun. The curtains themselves are not heavy; they’re relatively lightweight but yet they do block the sun and darken the room. They seem to cut down the heat. Whether they cut down on the cold in winter, I won’t know for a few months. They don’t have a lining as some insulating curtains do, but, so far, they seem to work well. About my photos: The light you see on the curtains is from the window on the adjacent wall; it’s not coming through these curtains. Also, the pictures were taken immediately after I unpacked these, so they have wrinkles, which I assume will hang out. I also moved a piece of furniture out of the way so you could see the length. I think these are very nice curtains, and they work for the purpose I intended.
