Our living room has a big window with blinds so when the sun is at its peak, it is blinding! I live in an apartment on top of a hill in Washington so the sun is at its highest at 5pm which made the living room hot and we couldn’t enjoy watching tv because of the glare. Blinds were no help. Anyways I decided to buy a blackout curtain that wasn’t 100% blackout but at least would block the sun. The mustard yellow caught my eye as I love the color and it matches our green sofa. Love the way the curtains looks and they help with blocking out the sun and reducing the heat in the room. It’s also helpful as I work from home. Very convenient right now that it’s summer. I love these curtains. We had Walmart brand blackout curtains before this and they still let light through. Aside from the light peeking through the top these are great. The material is very pretty too! You do need to iron or steam these though to get the wrinkles and harsh lines out.

The color was perfect. I loved the feel, sturdiness, and blackout effect. I was super excited to put them on, and once I did they were way too small. I ordered a size 96" in length and received much shorter length. A true shame, because they are very beautiful and I needed them for a photoshoot.
