These are great! We bought 4, and one of the matching side table. They are easy to put together, extremely strong and durable. They are also very heavy - which we LOVE, but could be a problem for anyone who needs something lighterweight to move around. They have stood up well to a few months of weather and being dragged around by my kid, they also hose down really easy for a quick clean. Like another reviewer mentioned, I find these to be much more comfortable because these chairs sit you a bit more upright, they are more comfortable and easier to get in/out... than like a traditional adirondack makes you lay back a bit more (which I don't personally like). ... show more

Anytime I see "assembly required" I look for other comparable options to avoid this often chaotic experience. But, I decide to give these chairs a try because they had all the elements (and color) I wanted. They were so easy to assemble! They came with minimal parts and screws and easy-to-follow instructions. With a chargeable screwdriver it only took about 15 minutes per chair to assemble! I purchased them for our outdoor fire site, located in a heavily wooded area of our backyard. I wanted an easily maintained chair I wouldn't have to bring indoors during season and be able to store (covered) in the off season. These will definitely do the trick! The angle of the seats make it comfortable and less "loungy" that often makes Adirondack chairs hard to use if you're in conversation because they often lean back too far for comfort and engagement. The material is sturdy and stands up to lots of human weights and sizes--not too low to the ground and has a wide base and arms to help support standing up or sitting into the chair. My only complaint (reason for the 4-stars) is that the drink holder is very small (approx. 3" diameter), not large enough to accommodate a variety of sizes of drink styles and sizes. We bought 6 of these and are considering a few more to accommodate our commonly large gatherings. ... show more

This chair went together pretty easily, though it would be easier to have two people. Very well made and looks even better than I had expected. A previous reviewer suggested taking the time to divide and label the many screws, as they vary slightly and once the package is opened, they all mingle together. I would second this great suggestion. A shout out to customer service at this company, too. I also ordered the folding version of this chair, which unfortunately arrived damaged and with a defective screw, making it impossible to put together properly. I reached out to the company, who responded within 24 hours, and sent me a replacement chair right away. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. We are so impressed with the quality of these chairs. They look and feel just like wood. Sturdier and heavier than expected. They’ll definitely withstand heavy winds and no one will land on their bottom backing in to sit! The assembly was easy enough. Just make sure you pay attention to the position of the pieces to avoid frustration with screw holes not lining up. The front leg/arm support mounts on the outside of the seat support board, and the back arm support mounts to the inside of the seat support board. This sounds so basic but it’s easy to make this mistake, even after putting the first chair together with out a problem. 😃 Breaking down the boxes for recycling was actually harder than the assembly. ... show more

Easy assembly (tip—don't tighten the screws until everything is lined up). They look nice and I love the color. Very durable. However they are smaller than a standard Adirondack chair and too upright. It seems like they were designed from a photo of an Adirondack chair and never tested. Hard to disassemble and send back so I guess I am stuck with them. ... show more

We needed deck chairs that can hold up to coastal winter weather/high winds and so far so good. The chairs are sturdy, easy to assemble, and heavy enough that they stay put.
