We use this daily and it works pretty well. It did take a long time for the wax blocks to melt completely so we have to wait quite a while to use it, unfortunately.     • Oil on plastic doesn’t melt

This is a Amazon repurchase all items & instructions included. When I opened the box it had dried wax on the side no big deal plugged it in hit start button and waited 2,3,4,5 hours but wax on the plastic didn’t melt it was soft but not melted. Turned it off got plastic spoon and scraped it off the side and put it back in hot oil waited 5 mins and turned it back on waited another hour and it was melted. As for temperature of oil it is little hot but not to hot. Now I turn it on wait 1 and wax is melted except what’s on the sides of the plastic. Simply put it works enough to use. ... show more

Muy caliente, no regula la temperatura. Hay que dejarlo encendido para que baje la temperatura (>48h). Hidrata, segun la parafina que utilice, alivia el dolor. Descubrí que debes dejarlo encendido todo el tiempo, mientras dure el tx o los resultados que esperabas. A las 48h apx la temp de la parafina se regulara y podras utilizarlos sin sentir que te quema. Las primeras 24h la temp sera de 130 a 132 F, a las 48h ya la temp habrá bajado a 124 a 128 apx. (Temp recomendable es 127 👍) ... show more

    • Easy to use and soothing. Wish the effect lasted longer on my arthritis in my hands.

I use this for my swollen and sore arthritic overused hands. I also have tendonitis and trigger finger in both hands. It helps pain and stiffness immediately but temporarily…the effect doesn’t last long. Still at the time it is quite nice. I feel like I am doing something for my poor hands at least. Also makes my hands very soft and younger looking. The device is easy to set up and use. Once the wax is melted I just leave the unit on day in and day out so I can dip whenever I want to. The first time I dipped it seemed exceedingly hot, but you get used to it and then it doesn’t seem very hot after a while. Dipping repeatedly so the wax builds up is best. I tried using the bag around my hand to hold the heat in longer, but it was awkward and a little messy and didn’t hold the heat very long. 5 hours and wax still not all the way melted. Could return if not used? How else can you check without adding the wax? Turned on again today and still not melted around the outside. Sure doesn’t look like the pictures of wac all liquid.

I have very dry skin and decided to give this a try. It is nice to have at home so I can use it anytime. The first time you add the included blocks of wax, it takes quite a long time to melt. After that it takes a little over an hour I would say. It does get extremely HOT, so once it has melted, I take the lid off for at least 10 min to try and cool it a little. I dip each hand in for 1 second, then pull it out for a few seconds, then repeat the dipping 6 times (I don't know if I could stand the heat more than that.) Then I sit with it on for at least 20 min, and you can throw the used wax from your hands away, or put it back in if you are the only one using it. No protective packaging for this order. Was in product box then Amazon box. The machine was apart exposing wiring and wax on outer box? Product is useable but in future you may wish to consider better packaging.
