I bought this island for my small kitchen. The island looks very good and it's sturdy. There were tons of small parts and some of the instructions aren't clear. Took my husband a while to get it together. The only two bad things are the top is laminate and a couple of the corners got damaged on the first day. And if you're sensitive to smells like I am there is a strong chemical smell. Hoping it will go away in a week or so. I have the windows open. Poor packaging. showed up with the two doors stuck together. The doors had rub scratches on them and actually removed some paint. Furthermore, had missing parts. No draw bottom. When you purchase something brand new it is disappointing to have very visible rub marks, and you can't use the draw.

I absolutely love how the instructions were pictures so we were not confused with the parts. The island was so easy to assemble. All the parts and hardware were in great condition. One person can actually assemble it but it's a good idea to have two for larger pieces. It's very study and so cute. I love everything about this BUT the top counter part. It seems to be made very cheaply and gets ruined and messed up easily. Little to no durability, and then after time it doesn’t look good anymore (at least the top part).

It took 2 hours to put together by myself. I used a screwdriver at first, but then switched to my drill. It came in two boxes and the directions were very clear and easy to understand. It was packaged nicely and no damage on any pieces. This island holds a lot!
