The color's pretty accurate, and these did start out life with a satiny texture. Based on my experience, they have two major problems, though, and I wouldn't rec them. Problem one: mine are already starting to pill up in places. Problem two: this may be more user error than product problem, but although the FITTED sheet stays on fine, the FLAT just slides right off even after attempting to use the straps to keep the corners in place. I have a mattress that is ~ 16" deep and the fitted sheet was tight - but acceptable. The new sheets have elastic all the way around and it is hard to tell which corners go head to foot vs. side to side, so if your sheet seems tight: try it the other way. I noted that everyone stated there were pulls / pilling. This will happen, not due to long toenails, but due to scaly feet (sheets prefer a pedi-foot). Also, to wash you need to put them in with other delicates (using a regular cycle with all sorts of "hard" clothes will cause pilling. You have just treated yourself to some dam nice sheets: treat them kindly and they will cuddle you every night. Sure they don't last as long as cotton - but cotton does not feel as good either. If you are looking for silver sheets with lots of shine, these are for you! I was not sure how I was going to like these sheets, but I have to admit they are pretty luxurious. I like the way that they feel cool to the skin. They are very slippery, I will admit that my pillow slid right off several times in the night. The top sheet also did end up sliding off as well, but that is common at my house. The pockets are so deep that I think the fitted sheet will stay on without the help of the free sheet suspenders, but they are an awesome free gift because I will be able to use them with all my other sheet sets that have trouble staying on. I think that these will be the main sheets I use, though, because they are now the most comfortable sheets I own. They also look really cool. ... show more

I got these on sale for an insanely cheap price for a king size sheet set. I thought they would be fun for an adult night in the bedroom and they were, if you like laughing and changing the sheets afterwards. Too slippery to actually want to sleep on these sheets. I wouldn't buy them again but it was a fun purchase made on a whim. Made for a funny and fun night and now will be stored in the closet until the next major clean-out. I’ve always been a fan of satin sheets but haven’t purchased them in years so I decided to order these and I’m so glad I did! They are amazing quality and very soft! Most satin sheets are rough at first but these are so comfy and ready to sleep in! They fit my queen pillow top matress perfectly and not too big at all! I did recieve the mattress straps, they were in the middle of the sheets lol have yet to put them on because the sheets fit so well :-) Overall completely satisfied and would definitely recommend!!! ... show more

I purchased this gem simply for the “cooling” factor to help abate the summer heat. Little did I know, these sheets would change my life. Upon peeling them out of the package, a cheap disco ball revealed itself from my ceiling and Barry Manlow appeared in the corner serenading me to the ultimate fantasy. It was the “cut” command harshly yelled that vaulted me back to reality. These sheets will take your bedroom look to the next level...cheap B rated porno flick. If you’re not looking for this look, these sheets aren’t for you. Or if you’re looking for a fun indoor slip n slide for the winter hours, just apply to mattress and let the fun begin. Pros: Soft, great quality, sturdy stitching, looks great, feels fancy, comfortable, packaged well Cons: Slightly lighter than picture, everything slides off easily (With any satin product) These came packaged very nicely in a plastic case, along with the sheet straps. I was worried considering the reviews about low quality and rips, but when I put mine on the bed it was perfectly fine. The sheets and pillow cases have great stitching. For the price, this was amazing. The only con I would have to say is I noticed they weren't as dark as I thought, but this could also be the lighting, when the light is off you really can't tell. They just looked a little more like dark grey than a rich black like the photo. Over all, the feel of these sheets and quality make up for the slightly off color. The satin feels wonderful against the skin. But be warned, things will slide off your bed really easily and making the bed can be difficult. If your considering satin just keep that in mind. 10/10 for me. ... show more
