I don't understand why some people have reported having trouble using their gift cards. We received 2 as a gift. The 2nd day of our cruise, I simply went to guest services, and they added the gift card amount to our on-board account as a credit. Easy!

We received several of these as gifts before a cruise. when you attempt to use them for a shore excursion for example you cannot just apply $100 to an excursion that might cost $149, you must have the exact amount. They wont take a gift card and have you add money with a regular credit card. If you buy an excursion for $89, say - you basically lose the rest of the money on the card. I have never seen or heard of gift cards that work this way. ... show more
