My first Hokas were the Clifton 8 and I liked them. The Clifton 9's are far superior to the 8's. For one thing, they are a bit wider which fit my foot better. I now own 4 pair of the 9's and wish I could find more. I tried the current model...Clifton 10 and they do not fit my foot. I wish Hoka would bring back the Clifton 9. FINALLY- I'm in Healthcare and walk around 12-15 per 8 hour shift. These are like walking on a cloud and offer amazing support for my back and knees. I have herniated discs and bone on bone in areas of my spine. People with this know that nothing truly fixes the problem, but ANYTHING that helps is a huge gift. Fingers crossed that these last.
