Pretty simple to use for the most part, other than the seaweed applicators (they just do not cut well at all). For the price, I would say it should come with more or just cost less considering how little you get in the package. Other than that, it’s very cute and you should try it if you’re interested in making cute little rice balls.

This little kit is so very easy to use! I was concerned about the rice sticking to the plastic and the small portion, but it's honestly the perfect size and doesn't stick at all. It's so easy to use that you really don't have to read the instructions (which is good if you can't read the characters because it does not come in English).

I gave this to my niece because she likes to make Japanese food. I used it before I gave it to her to make really cute rice crispy treats for her daughters birthday. I love cats and this makes really cute "cat" food!

But not great. I prefer to just use my bare hands to form the rice balls. The plastic is fairly non stick (good).

Love this! The kitties come out perfectly and it's easy to use with any kind of rice I've used, even long-grain brown rice. The cutters are not sharp enough to cut through the kelp sheets I got--but in fairness, even a knife wasn't sharp enough, the sheets were too thick. So I'll be getting thinner kelp sheets for the cat features.

☆The stencil cutter with one cat face, paw and fish: that Cat Face and Fish are NOT meant to cut nori. They are meant to cut food items like ham, cheese or thin cut veggies.☆ The rice molds are a bit on the small side but making 3 cat heads is enough to fill a person. The rice doesn't stick to the molds and slides out on its own. *Place the front cat head first into the handle then fill it up almost to the top (do not pack it as you go) then use the back cat head to press it all the way til it touches the front mold (hold under the front cat head not the handle). The nori cutters (3 cat set, paw and whiskers) need a little bit of help to really work. *After pressing on it on top of the silicone pad, flip it over and press on the cutter with your fingers and it should come out better. The food cutters (1 cat face and fish) works with no issues.
