I had bought something similar from a local store and it broke very quickly. This one is easy to use. Lightweight yet sturdy. The Garden Hoe is lightweight and the long pole makes it easy to weed your garden without bending. It is well made and formidable. It also doesn't work. The forks are two wide apart so the weeds slip RIGHT THROUGH. I've since resorted to pulling weeds my hand which is what I was trying to avoid when I bought this. Still, it will make a great weapon if anyone breaks into my house! Gotta look at the bright side!

Works excellent. We have a handheld type but needed something with a longer handle. The handle is very strong and the tongs and blade are thick and heavy. WE are able to easily dig into out compact and difficult soil. We were skeptical if it would be sturdy enough, but it definitely is holding up to the work we are putting it through.
