  • Great garden tool
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
Liked the grip and solid construction of this tool. Perfect for digging a groove around tree to install buff stone edger.

  • Nice size, useful garden tool

I was impressed with the weight of this tool. It feels well made and is longer than your basic trowel.

  • good gardening tool
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
This is a good little garden tool. It is not a yard or landscaping tool. Being stainless steel and a bit soft at that it will handle cutting out weeds and breaking up soil, but it will not survive much abuse. Out of the box as you can see in the picture, the blade side needed some touchups as it came slightly nicked and/or sloppily sharpened. That is how i know its kind of soft, it shaped fast with a file and sharpened easy with an axe stone. Once sharpened it had no problem chopping roots out when striking beds in my garden, and chopping the plants into the soil to then mix in as green manure. I also used it to dig out a bed of sweet potatoes and as a cultivator there it had no problems. The welds look fine and strong enough for working in rock free or wood free soil, but I would not see it taking too many hits against those things. So long as your use case is help in gardening and not clearing land or digging an inground bed in for the first time, then this should do fine. My only real complaint is needing to straighten up the blade out of the box. Will report back if it fails prematurely, but so far so good. ... show more

  • Good tool
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
A handheld hoe and tiller on an attractive package. Light weight enough to wield confidently in the garden. This item would make a good gift for the gardener in your life. The handle is nice colored wood.

  • Worked well for my small gardening jobs
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
This garden rake/hoe is made well and seems to be durable. When I used it I did not notice it being near as heavy as our larger one and I was able to use it for longer periods of time. I was using this to put a border around a flower bed and it did the job just fine. This rake/hoe is a bit longer than other small gardening tools, which is nice since I can get a firm grip on the handle. Overall, I would recommend this tool for all of your small gardening jobs. ... show more

  • Still shine after 1 month of use
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for a hoe to use in your large garden then it might not be the one. But for most of the small hobby garden this one is perfect size. This doesn't feels too much heavy so is easy to handle. Since design was new to me I was worried how strong it is and won't top fall apart from the wood part. This confusion went away when I got the product and saw the rivet that goes across the wood. So I'm now convinced it won't come off unless the wood is broken. I have used it for more than 1 month and it is sitting out on garden resisting sun and rain. I don't see any rusting issue though i'm going to store it on my garage going forward. I don't have to do anything extra to make use of this. Right after taking it out off the box i'm able to use it. And this is sharp enough to go through some harder soils. ... show more

  • This is a solid garden tool!
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box for this. It was certainly more sizeable than I expected. The handle is longer than a basic garden hand tool, so it will accommodate all kinds of grips of holds. The end with the cultivator and hoe is large and solid enough to break through compacted dirt or clay (we have the most horrible compacted red clay soil here in Virginia). The wooden handle is smooth and easy to grip, and the making of the metal end is well done (no seams or weak spots that I can see). It's large enough to keep me from breaking out full sized tools for the larger spots in my garden (bigger than a bread basket, smaller than a bed). It's also perfectly sized for working around established plantings without risk of harming those plants or getting caught up trying to use the standing, full-sized tools. I can get the same result without standing and digging too deeply into established roots. Definitely worthy to have in your garden shed for your cultivation. and bed work. ... show more

  • Our go to garden tool.
Color: Hoe and Cultivator
This year my son began having a strong interest in gardening and I have recently helping where I could. This hand tool is mostly all I use. The handle is solid wood and has a good solid feel in your hands. The ends of the blade and forks are reasonably sharp without feeling dangerous. For our little vegetable garden, this has been the workhorse and well worth the asking price. ... show more
