This wallet is butter soft, made impeccably. I replaced an old Hobo from 25 years ago which finally got tattered. The Hobo is deceiving: it's not large at all, but open looks huge. It folds and stays closed by 2 hidden magnets under leather on the top & bottom. Closed it's compact flat fitting in your purse or hand, takes up little room in your purse. When opened fully, it's pockets, zipper, card holders etc. can literally hold every form of ID, money, credit cards, change, even makeup - a purse-full of items in a wallet! It's perfect!

I purchased this wallet in September of 2011. It is still going strong and has been used every single day since the day it arrived. There is room for everything in it including cards, paper money, coins, lip gloss, iPhone, receipts...you name it, it can probably fit in this wallet and be carried with you. :) Years later I am still recommending this wallet to all of my friends. Every woman should have one. The leather is devine, the inside patterned material coordinates and adds a nice touch, the zippers are sturdy, the clasps have not failed yet, and the magnet is my favorite part. It is strong enough to keep the wallet shut, but not too strong that you can't open it. You'll see what I mean. I love having my ID and most used cards in the inside "book" compartment where I can get to them easily. Everything is safe and secure! If mine ever breaks (which is highly unlikely) I will be purchasing another one. Don't let the price tag deter you...you will get your money's worth ten fold! Best wallet ever!

I love Hobo wallets, in fact, this is my third one, and for the first time, I am extremely disappointed. I paid $149 for this wallet. Shipping was fast, so no problem there, however, the quality is not at all what I remember from my past Hobo wallets. the leather on the second pocket of the wallet has separated from the metal frame. I tried to push it back in place but was unsuccessful. I don't keep that much in my wallet, so the separation can't be from overfilling the space. It is a flaw in the product. If I could return it I would, but it's been a month and I've been using it. I can't believe I paid that much money for something that didn't even last a month, I feel cheated which makes me mad, and that sucks.

I was hesitant to spend this much, but had so many amazon visa reward points it was only $19.34 for me. Boy am I glad I got it. My only complaint is that it scratches easily with keys in purse or fingernails. However, this wallet meets all my needs. The way it opens up for just a few cards and license in the middle makes everyday purchases a breeze. No looking around for the right card. I use the huge interior zipper compartment for coupons and always have them now. I keep my checkbook and register in the zipper coin side. I can keep any bills and even a smartphone there as well, but I'm worried about it stretching with the phone. There is a pocket they advertise for the smartphone on the other side of the wallet, but that is where all my other cards, photo book, misc. things are. Can be used as a clutch too. I love it because it keeps everything so well organized.

I needed a new wallet and found that my niece had this Hobo Vintage Lauren Wallet. She flies frequently and is able to keep her passport and all her necessary papers inside this wallet. I really liked the design and ordered one for myself. This design holds everything my old wallet did and more. I love the organization features and the variety of colors available. The leather is very soft and beautiful. I ordered the black and love it. I ordered a second one for my daughter's birthday last month and she loves it as well. I will be ordering more for my sisters for their birthdays too.

HOBO, you really don't have to say more than that, but I will! HOBO is top quality, the leather is beautiful, it comes packed in tissue with stuffing and foam, etc. The hardware is really nice and the leather is sewn in perfect so it should last a very long time. The zipper in the center is a compartment almost the size of the wallet when you lay it open. You wouldn't want to put anything too bulky in there but you could slip in extra cash or credit card, passport, even your phone. My phone (EVO 4G) fits nicely in one side, if I want to use this as a clutch, I still have room for lipstick or pen, etc. One side is all pocket and has a zipper pocket on the inside, this side would be good for the accessories you usually carry in your purse. The other side has 6 credit card slots and two long slots like for cash. There are also a few slots in the center lay out for frequently used cards or gift cards, etc. i don't think you'd have to worry about any cards falling out of the slots in this area. There are magnets that hold the two sides together and they are pretty strong--again top quality. The ends are open but not gaping, so you may want to judge how valuable the cards you choose to put in this center section until you see how it works for you. I bought the black leather for about $60. The colors range widely in price, but I will probably check back periodically to see if some other colors I like get to a better price, because if you had few of these, they would probably last you the rest of your life! This wallet is big enough that once you have it filled with your items, you can just change purses and drop this wallet in and be ready to go. Very lovely, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this wallet. And if you are not, I suggest you return it -- HOBO deserves a chance to make it right and doesn't deserve a bad wrap. Enjoy!
