I think I’m going to like this bag a lot. I bought it to replace a nearly identical bag that I’ve carried for the last two+ years. My former hobo bag - same design and outer pocket placement - was white with tan and gold accents. It was buttery soft like leather and really hard to tell that it wasn’t leather. However, I got that bag at Goodwill and couldn’t afford to buy this style in actual leather so I bought this set of three bags. I’m really living the extra two little bags - I have all my makeup in the big bag and put store loyalty/rewards cards in the round bag - although it would also make a fabulous cash/coins purse if you like to carry those. I have the two accessory bags in the purse, plus two eyeglass cases (one case for bifocals and one for sunglasses) are tucked neatly in the center zippered pocket, plus another 3x6 zippered wallet that holds both my cell phones, and I have plenty of room to spare! There’s no way I can carry my MacBook Pro (older model) and zip the purse, but an iPad, Chrimebook, or tablet would fit very easily. I’m assuming the vinyl (pleather?) will soften up with use so it’s a little stiff right now. I don’t think there’s any concern that this will be confused for leather, but that’s not a factor for me. If I can get daily use out of this for a couple years ( without straps and zippers and pocket liners failing me ) I’ll consider this a major win. I am going to watch for other colors as I’m definitely contemplating buying another one for spring, although the gray brown is really a good year-round color I can’t say enough good things about this design - those side pockets, the interior pockets and slots fit cell phones, the outer pocket on the back and zippered purse body is just total security with function and style. Before COVID, my daily commute involved walking for blocks, grabbing busses and/or trains, and I needed those zippers so even if I tripped and fell or stumbled (easy to do walking in ice, snow, or managing a bumpy ride on public transit) , I knew my valuables wouldn’t be scattered. I also wanted quick, secure access to my bus pass and work badge so I wasn’t fumbling with my wallet. With this purse design those items are a quick reach without having to take my purse off my shoulder. That’s worth a lot of peace of mind. Gave this purse to my mom as a gift for Mother’s Day to replace her daily carry/work purse, which was on its last legs. I wanted to get her something fancy but knew if I did she’d use that as an excuse to never use it! So, I figured I’d get something big enough to be useful with the extra bags to help keep the contents manageable. She loves it! It looks much nicer in person, like it’s more expensive than you’d think. It feel sturdy and so do the cosmetic bags. She especially loved those! She also likes that she can switch to the included longer strap if needed to convert it to a crossbody bag if she’s traveling or something. So, I’m thrilled she has a better purse for daily use that she’ll actually wear. She likes that it’s spacious and good-looking, and I didn’t “waste too much money” on her (as if I could). ... show more

    • Plenty for the money
First of all, I got a beautiful warm brown color with no blemishes or lighter spots. Then the purse was a great size. Really big for my purposes and I got the card holder and wallet included. Very pleased with that but you have to be aware that this purse has an ODOR.It reads on the card that it smells when you get it. This is what I did to the smell. I put floral dryer sheets in all the crevices. Everything that came got the floral fragrance and I left everything alone for a couple of days. I took the dryers sheets out and replaced them and gave it a couple more days. Perfectly happy with everything for the money spent. Also, be aware that you have to be careful with the zippers. They can’t be tugged on because they are just not sturdy enough. But if you can accept these things than you will be satisfied with the purchase. ... show more
