  • Flimsy :(
Color: Black
Will be returning. I have a super common huffy beach cruiser, and the board rack doesn't secure tightly enough to the seat post. I rode it with a 5'6 fish, and every bounce made the rack shift slightly until it was so tilted that the tail was going to hit the ground or vice versa. I tightened it literally as far as it would go, and it still rotated around on my seat post. Super bummed because it definitely does NOT fit all bikes like advertised, further it doesn't fit an extremely common beach cruiser. *EDIT* I ended up using gorilla glue to secure the rack to my seat post. It still sort of slips but it’s much tighter than before. You can remove the racks easily so the clamp is the only thing that’s permanently attached to my bike. Works well enough for me. ... show more

  • Great, but not well-suited for a Wavestorm Soft-Top LongBoard
Color: Gold
Sleek, lightweight, and and well-made. However, I own a 8ft Wavestorm soft top, and the weight seems to be just abou the most it can safely carry (maybe a bit too heavy, to be honest).I plan on switching to a shorter/lighter board, so this won't be a big for too long, but for now, the Wavestorm is not the ideal board to carry with this rack. Another issue I had with the rack is that it didn't come with a rubber fitting for the mounting clamp, and because of that, the rack tends to swing around the seat post. I (mostly) solved this by purchasing a piece of rubber sheet from home depot and cutting to size, but it would have been nice if it had come in the box. ... show more

  • Easy to put on
Color: Black
I am still experimenting with it, but the main issues for me have been: 1. getting the rack to not twist on seat stem/ neck. One reviewer used a rubber shim. I will try same as the metal on metal does get movement and I feel as if I might strip the bolts if i tighten them any more. 2. I am wondering if there is a weight limit. My board is a 7 foot fish style but finished with double glass similar to a 70's models. I will try with a lighter board and see how it goes. ... show more

  • Decent with some design flaws
Color: Black
In general this mount works pretty well, but it's greatest weakness is the fact that the piece that you secure to the seat post does not grip tight enough. My 8' longboard's angle will start to shift so that my back tire begins to rub against it, even with the screws as tight as possible. The manufacturers really should try to address this via some rubber shims or something to increase the friction, or a redesign all together that would prevent it from shifting. My only other complaint is that I think there should be a simpler mechanical design for mounting the holder arms. Instead of screws, some easy spring loaded pins would do just fine and be so much quicker and easier. ... show more

  • Great rack, well built and lightweight.
Color: Black
This rack works perfectly on my Tern GSD to hold my board, leaving enough room for the storage bags in the back and not impending pedaling motion nor steering in the front, so I'm really happy with it, especially for this price! The only drawback so far is the installation, it's pretty tedious to have to screw 8 bolts and having to use an hex key. ... show more

  • What it says
Color: Black
Perfect. Needed for my beach bike taking a board down the beach. I live close but a walk is too long. It just works. All good.

  • It works!
Color: Black
Edit- took a star away (4 now). I'll add it back when there is a quick release from the bike version suitable for us that don't have dedicated surf bikes. Like the lever latch they have for securing bike seats, wheels in the forks, etc., Or something equivalent. Holds a Wavestorm (8 ft) fine. I had the same problem with it rotating around the seat but tightening it did the trick. Then it started rotating the entire seat, so I tightened that. I probably will add some rubber tape between the clamp and seat pole for extra peace of mind, but this thing is as advertised, will probably get one for my son ... show more

  • Great price
Color: Black
Great, use it here in Costa Rica. Price for these here is 150$ to 200$. Even threw a long board on there and help up, although I dont recommend for big boards its doable!
