First, it doesn't come with a storage bag of any kind. And after it's been used, it will be hard to fold up and fit back in the box. Plus, I don't like to put wet things in a cardboard box. Fortunately it does roll up pretty tight, and fits in spare duffel bag I had lying around. Some people just roll it up and put in on a shelf in the garage, maybe with some velcro straps to help keep it tidy. I also had a couple comments on construction. Overall this thing is built tough! Much tougher than the vast majority of brands. But I always inspect things to look for weak spots, and see where they're going to fail. This has two weak spots. First, where the tow strap meets the tube has terrific vertical reinforcement, but there is no lateral reinforcement. This is where it's going to break down first, those threads are going to fray. Given how heavy duty this thing is, I was a bit surprised to see this oversight. I'm not too worried about it though. It's not fun to stitch back up, but it's doable. And, even if it frays a little bit, it's still usable. This doesn't affect the inner tube at all. The only thing to watch for is if the seams come apart enough to let water inside. The second issue is the tow loop. The plastic loop itself is very heavy duty. But the strapping only has one row of stitching, and in my opinion it would be better reinforced with two rows of stitching. Overall though I'm very impressed. It's huge, stable while in use, I personally feel it's safe for kids or adults. The inner tube is a heavy duty mil. The outer material is heavy duty and comfortable, rash resistant. Despite having some complaints, I haven't seen anything better to recommend, this is pretty top of the line. So it gets a fairly easy thumbs up from me. One final note - all inflatables eventually get holes, no matter how heavy duty they are. They included two patches, but you should probably have a roll of TPU tape on hand, and know how to identify air leaks. It's not difficult, we keep a small spray bottled handy, filled with water and a squirt of dish soap to help identify air leaks. ... show more

I couldn't wait for this to arrive and as soon as it did I wasted no time trying this out on the lake. This was probably one of the best tubes I've every used. Material does make a difference and after hours of being out using this on the lake not one rash or skin/material burn as would happen on my previous tube. The material feels really durable and held up all day. I actually caught some air on this a few times over almost 2 feet high (ok maybe more like 1 but still) and I wouldn't have really tried that on my previous tube. Decent price overall given what I've seen on the market and to me it was a great decision. ... show more

Love the top cover on this tube - not exactly sure what it is made of, but the risk of getting abrasions due to the skin on rubber is very minimal. It is large enough for three adults to ride on, and the pull-up straps on the back really make it easier to mount. You inflate it using 3 Boston valves so you can use pretty much any pump out there. Expensive, but this thing is made to last! ... show more

I've always been a fan of the HO Sports watersports products and this is no exception. My collection includes numerous HO slalom waterskiis, Hyperlite wakeboards, tow ropes and HO/Hyperlite life vests that go back decades! I now tow my grandkids on HO products and they LOVE this new 70" softshell inflatable/towable/tube. This new softshell cover is a very tight weave soft feeling synthetic fabric with padding. There are pull-up straps to get onto this tube easier from the water, padded handles for up to 3 riders, and it has a quick connect rope attachment on it that makes it easy to connect and take off the tow rope. The two-way valves that HO uses makes it easy to deflate their inflatables too. This new tight weave fabric also makes this inflatable glide across the water nice and tow easier than some others. I'm very impressed with this new softshell cover of this HO Sunset Series. I remember way back before HO made inflatables, riding on a big heavy nylon duck fabric covered rubber inner tube that beat my body up and gave me rash burns, AND had terrible drag in the water for towing. Towables have come a long way since those old heavy big bumpers, and the design of this softshell material is to make the experience more fun and more comfortable and greatly reduce the chance of rash burn from tubing. This thing looks awesome. I'm about 5' 11". You can see my head barely sticks up above it. I look kind of like Wilson on home improvement. Unfortunately, we've had storms move in lately, and the weather is getting cooler so I don't know if I'll get to use this this year or not. I'm really looking forward to getting the grandkids out on the lake with it, having a blast. Materials covering the bladder seems to be very soft and well made. I like the fact that it has straps near the backside of the tube to help pull yourself up. It also has a quick inflate and deflate valve that works well. In addition to that it has a zipper on the side, so I can pull the bladder out if necessary to make any repairs. Speaking of repairs, it came with two repair patches that I hopefully will never have to use. There is also a drain pocket on the bottom side that looks like it's made to drain while you're pulling it down the lake. It's got a one way flap on it, so I don't see any reason that will work like it is designed to. ... show more

exactly what is advertised. it certainly feels strong and durable, it's a very heavy tube. but with the handle cover it feels easy to move around. this will last just fine and do exactly what we expected. would recommend.

I like the colors of this tube and the fabric used is very comfortable to the touch. The size of the tube is great. the plastic inflatable tube is sewn into the cover so don't expect to separate the two pieces. There is only one chamber to inflate and it inflates easily with a power inflator as long as you have one. the rope attachment is located at the proper location so it doesn't just throw a bunch of spray at the riders faces.
