This phone case I used for an Android A 54. The case is water proof as long as the charging port is closed. Very good for rainy weather and the outside protective case is steady. However the screen front and back is not scratch proof or shatter proof.

I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my girlfriend since we upgraded phones. It fit nicely and snug and I attached the lanyard that comes with it. It seems to do what it's meant to do, I ran it through the sink to see if water got in it and it worked. I don't go swimming nor shower with it, but I do go off-roading and the elements seem to get the phone wet or dirty. This would help keep the phone looking new and add an additional layer of waterproof. Keep in mind that the A53 5G is already water resistant but having an extra layer of security gives me more piece of mind. I recommend this case if you are in areas were your phone could end up getting wet or dirty like outdoors. ... show more

But I needed to remove it to listen to audio on my doorbell camera footage, as sound was rather muffled with the cover on. Super snug, protective rubber wraps around the phone which protects it from damage if you drop it, and 'snaps' together with authority so you KNOW this is quality. Charger port has attached lid that easily pops in or out, but again is VERY snug. The face panels are super clear and scratch resistant, very easy to wipe off as needed with a cloth to remove fingerprints or dust.
