I went 2X large and it feels like i am going through a birth canal when i put it on. Once on its snug as it should be but my last helmet was Xlarge and was less tight than this one is at 2X large. So do go with a much larger size.

    • You cannot beat an HJC helmet!
I currently own 4 HJC helmets and love every one of them. My personal favorite is the I10 because it has so many vents on it. I bought this one for the ladies that I invite to ride with me and the med fits most woman perfectly. I have a bucket head and wear an XL and HJC has the best selection for bucket heads like mine. If you go to their website you can pick out the model you like then come back to Amazon and order it. I don't think HJC allows you to order straight from their site so Amazon is the way to go. Remember this amateurs, hopefully you will never need a helmet, but if you do, you better hope you have a good one, so don't be afraid to spend at least $250 (min). Those Chinese knock-off's with the fake DOT sticker on the back are crap. Just don't wear one if you don't get a good one. ... show more

Great helmet. Replaced my previous HJC. This one is much lighter. Fits snug but it’s mainly due to the padding which after some wearing has loosened up a bit. Wish the ventilation was better but overall a great helmet. Highly recommend.

HJC makes a great helmet. Much better than the budget brands, but not much more expensive. Comfortable and lightweight. Luckily I haven't had to "properly" test it for durability. Don't waste your money on a reflective visor. They scratch and chip super easy. Besides you'll want something for riding at night. Just get shades. B] ... show more
