I assume the higher than average price for the Ah rating is because it's a OEM kawasaki part and it's also very small. It says it's protected against over voltage and under voltage, but the instructions are very clear not to charge it above 15v or let it go below 8v else damage can occur. If it had a built in BMS, ( battery management system), that should stop it from being overcharged and disconnect it before it's discharged to the point of damage. Seems like all the warnings might not be necessary if it had a BMS. In case you're going to get more power by running these in parallel or you had a 24 volt system, the instructions say don't run batteries connected together. Have a small honda scooter and as soon as the battery fails in it I know where this is going. Battery life will be probably longer than the scooter will run. ... show more

    • Good battery
I am using this for short burst of an led strobe light. I like that this is a 150cc battery as it allows me to draw more current than normal. The weight on this is much better than the equivalent lead acid. It is smaller and lighter, making this battery much more mobile as I carry it around on my person for a costume. This battery easily starts my Honda 300cc dual purpose motorbike. It also provides some deep cycle capabilities. It is much lighter than the OEM battery and will probably last at least 5x longer. Enough said.

Not having any issues with this battery discharging/recharging. Not using it to power a motorcycle, but as an accessories battery for my ebike to power a bluetooth speaker and trail camera. For that purpose it is working great for me.

Good battery, light, plastic, thin brass terminals. Its quite inexpensive for what it is. It did not start my very high compression harley 118, but I sort of expected that. Charges nice and easily. Does not get hot while charging.
