I live in an area where the water is cold and the air can be too, especially in the morning and evening. I keep a large duffle full of wet suits for various lake activities. It extends the season. But even with a wet suit, there is always a cold transition and period of shivering once the wet suit comes off and before I'm dry and can put clothes back on. I've wished on several occasions that I had some kind of jacket made of towel material that I could easily wash to wear during these transition periods where I need to be cleaning things up. I also hike to a lot of hot pools in nearly every month of the year. The transition between sitting in warm water and getting back on the trail can be pretty chilly. I know there are cover ups, but none really fit my style. When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect for so many things I do. It feels just like the micro fiber beach towels that have been so popular the last several years. And it absorbs and then air dries similar to those as well. I like the neutral grey color making it wearable by anyone in the group that needs it. I also like how long it is. That lets me change my swimsuit in a modest manner when I'm somewhere without a changing structure. It's about the same thickness as the microfiber beach towels too, so it's fairly light, but not so light as to let the breeze pass through. This is also an excellent option for solving that awkward shirtless walk through hotels after swimming in the pool. So many uses. This will be used weekly in the summer and regularly in other seasons. It will be super versatile for several different activities. The material feels good on my skin and it seems well made to last. It will be a staple in my swim bag.

I have a kids version of this and love it, so I jumped on this one while failing to note that the fabric was different. The kids version was a fuzzy microfiber, however this one is like a lens cleaning cloth or what I consider moleskin or suede cloth. As a coverup, it’s fine. I’m not skinny, but I’m only 5”3 and found it fit with a lot of room to spare. It certainly covers most all of my body. The zipper is great, because it’s a thick, two way plastic zipper that glides easily. Is it a fashionable piece? Not in my opinion, but I may be too far out of the fashion loop to know. As stated earlier, the fabric is different than I expected. While it may dry quickly, it doesn’t absorb moisture like terry cloth so it won’t be effective at drying you off. It may also be a no go for those with texture sensitivity as it gave me the chills when I first touched it. Lastly, the fabric is on the thin side, so I wouldn’t expect this to keep you warm after jumping out of the pool on a day below 80 degrees. On a summer day, it’s light enough to allow me to walk to the river without being overheated, and affords me some sun protection. It also washes great, coming out of a hot wash and dry cycle the same as it went in.

At first, I honestly was not sure how I felt about the material when I first tried this on. It felt a little different than what I expected, but after actually using it a few times, it completely grew on me. I ended up loving how lightweight it is while still being soft, absorbent, and comfortable. It dries surprisingly well without feeling heavy or bulky like some thicker changing robes can. I got the gray color originally because I figured my husband and I could both use it for the pool, hot tub, and beach. The neutral color worked perfectly for sharing, but now that I realize how much I like it, I honestly wish I had picked one of the cuter colors for myself too. I may end up ordering another one because the pink and purple are really tempting now. The oversized fit works great for changing privately after swimming or using the hot tub, and the zipper design makes it much easier to get on and off than standard ponchos. I also really appreciated the hood and longer sleeves on cooler evenings outside. We have already been using it around the fire pit after getting out of the hot tub, and it keeps you warm without overheating. Overall, I am really happy with it. Lightweight, comfortable, practical, and much more useful than I originally expected. Definitely a great item for the beach, pool, surfing, or just relaxing after being in the water.

This review is for the Hiturbo Zipper Microfiber Surf Poncho changing robe. This oversized quick-dry poncho is made for swimming, surfing, beach trips, pool days, and other water sports. It’s made from soft microfiber material that feels really comfortable against the skin while also being lightweight and absorbent. The robe has long sleeves, a large hood, and a two-way zipper that makes changing in and out of swimsuits or wetsuits much easier without feeling exposed in public. I got the navy blue version and the one-size-fits-all design actually works very well. It fits my wife and daughter comfortably with plenty of room to move around while changing. The material feels soft, dries quickly, and seems to be pretty good quality all around. The longer length and sleeves also help block the wind at the beach, which is nice after getting out of the water. Realistically, my wife and daughter will probably use this more like a comfortable bathrobe after getting out of the pool or ocean to keep the chill off, rather than using it for changing, and it’s perfect for that. It’s cozy, lightweight, easy to throw on, and definitely something that will get a lot of use during summer trips and beach days. For the price, I think it’s a really fair deal and well worth it. Easy 5/5 stars from me.

After a race, you're standing around in wet clothes, usually in a parking lot or grassy field with zero privacy. This poncho solves that completely. The two-way zipper and long sleeves make it easy to get on and off over a wet jersey and shorts — no awkward wiggling or flashing anyone. The microfiber material is soft and soaks up water fast. I stepped out of it feeling noticeably drier than I expected. It's roomy without being clumsy, and the hood is a nice touch for windy mornings on the water. The closure under the waist keeps everything secure while you're changing underneath. One thing I really like is how lightweight it packs down. Toss it in my gear bag and it doesn't take up much space. If you do any water sport where you change outside — surfing, swimming, dragon boat, triathlon — this makes the post-race routine ten times better. No more towel-dancing behind a car door.

it's not microfiber! it's suede. is it great for waterproof but not water absorbent. it is so big, like a XXXXXXL. it can defeinetly fit some who is 600lbs. im 116lbs. this is just like me wearing a 3 person tent.

It works great for me, it's bulky but that is exactly why it works so well for actually hiding behind while I change out of my gear. The material has a nice weight to it and it sucks up the moisture way faster than a regular cotton towel ever could. I have started using it around the house way more than I expected because the material is just so soft. It feels like wearing a giant blanket with sleeves. It has pockets which are deep enough to actually hold my phone and keys without them sliding out while I walk around. I did notice the fabric catches a bit of lint if you wash it with other stuff so keep that in mind. The zipper feels pretty solid so far even if it feels a little stiff at the very bottom. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for and fits way looser than I thought it would which is definitely a plus for me. Totally worth the price.

Good microfiber changing robe. This is made of a soft microfiber bit terry cloth. Very absorbent. Its giant oversized feel allows changing underneath without exposing yourself. It’s a dark blue and has a hood and full zipper. It’s comfortable and lightweight.
