Out of the box, these faux leather head protectors do smell funky but I’m sure it will disappear in a few days. I ordered the 3 pack in taupe. It’s a odd shade that I’ll refer to the color as putty. I tried one on a microfiber couch and it’s going nowhere. The backside grippers hold it in place firmly, I was very impressed. They do come with 10 velcro adhesive stickers. I do not plan on using the velcro because I think the sticker could damage the finish on the leather couch and I’m not looking to permanently attach them, besides the textured raised rubber bumpy backing works really well. All the seems and edges are sewn neatly. We got these because our front declawed cat jumps on our boat’s leather sofas and her back nails are leaving marks. These will stay in place and protect the furniture! I’m excited to have found another use for them. The only issue I see with these head protectors is color matching. There are 3 colors available. This taupe or putty color will probably compliment, but never match, several tones from a warm greige to taupe/brown. It’s an odd taupe color which i don’t foresee matching any couch exactly, but might coordinate with several colors. The beige and black colors might coordinate better with a bigger color range. Three large covers at $33 is a little pricey, if you only need one, but they do a great job of staying in place. They can be spot cleaned. I recommend more as pet protection than head rest protection:)

They protect the headrest area on my sofa recliners. The seams are well-sewn with no fraying or loose threads. They are a close enough match to the color of our beige leather sofa that you don't even notice them when you come into the room. They have a rubbery non-skid surface on the back that helps them stay in place. They did come with velcro pieces, but I did not want to stick them to my leather sofa. They do wrinkle a bit behind your head when you recline and lean your head on them. I would like them better if they were more of a matte than a shiny finish, but overall, I am satisfied with these covers.

These worked better than anticipated! We ordered these to use in a rental for a few months to protect the couch arms from the dog. These don't slip off at all and stay on despite movement when the dog climbs over or when I put my head on them. They look nice and I would buy these again. They don't feel cheap, they feel like quality headrest protectors, and they feel high quality too. Strong anti-slip. Very happy with order and would recommend! So I ended up getting these to cover it up and noticed that the back have these little rubber dots that makes it anti-slip. Overall I’m pretty happy with these because they’re really large enough to cover the areas and drape it over the couch with that slipping. FYI - You do have to aerate these out a little bit because they do smell a little bit like plastic when it first arrives. But overnight the smell went away and it’s good enough for its intended job. The three of them are pretty affordable under $25.

These are really great too have. These covers help to protect my cloth couch from stains. I got the beige color too match my decor, plus the are made of faux leather, and are easy to clean. These were really easy to install, as a matter of fact, these covers came with Velcro to help anchor them in place, but I didn't need it, the back of these covers has little knobs that adhere to the fabric of the pillows on my couch. These covers are are comfortable, but can be a bit cold to the touch
